I thought they were white.
Of course you thought they were white- you've been conditioned to think that police violence (or at least police militarization) is a racial issue, rather than a social one. That way, your attention is directed towards those who you're told are racist, rather than towards the complex social and economic problems that CAUSE high levels of criminality in the first place.
Remember, complex problems usually have complex solutions, and they almost ALWAYS have complex causes- anyone who wants you to think that there's an easy answer and an easy origin for something complicated is probably selling something.

It's interesting how people immediately jumped to the conclusion they were white men responsible even after it was widely reported it was 5 black officers. I live on the other side of the world and even I knew what officers were involved. All you people who assumed and jumped to the conclusion it were white men should really apologise and start waking up to the fact black officers are hurting and killing black men and that's its not always white men killing black people. But it seems many people turn and look away when it comes to black people killing black people because most of you believe only white men kill black people.
Yes, and oddly enough, BLM, Al Sarpton and Jessie Jackson didn't comment.
Being idiots is not the prerogative of any particular race. I guess the pack mind played a role leading to kind of a collective hysteria. The question should be asked to psychologists.

US cops are bad - the race doesn't really matter.
They probably just called them 5 Police Officers didn't they? It would help if they would say they were 5 Black Officers from the beginning so people would know it wasn't racism.
They were really Trump Supporting white supremacists who were wearing black makeup.
If his name was Tyre, maybe they just wanted to see if he'd bounce.
Not until I saw a question about in on GaG. The media seems intent on keeping this information from us.
Kind of dismisses the institutional racism trope
Yes. I found out once I read the news about it like 4 days ago.
The major difference with this story is the majority of the media isn't saying 5 Black Police officers beat him
Yes but the police system is white. They were instructed to do this by their superiors which are white men
Yes and they are all fired and under review pending investigation, probably get jail time
Yes. That’s been widely reported.
