The problem as I see it is definitely cultural. It is the culture of young men raised without a mentoring father and the gang mentality that develops from it. The problem goes all the back to LBJ's "war on poverty", which the welfare system separated (and still does) families from a solid male influence. Matriarchal culture.

The problem with saying that BLM is an issue with the race of the victims of cops is that the data pretty conclusive shows that white men are more likely to be the victims of police brutality than black men.

Before I’d paint this with a broad brush (as with all the others) I would want to know the history of the “victim” with each officer. What encounters were they having previously? It’s unlikely it’s a one-off, no? Usually a beating like this is spurred on by something bigger than what is shown. Devils in the details.

The problem is that the police systems were designed by the white man and made us systematically racist towards black men so it doesn’t matter that the cops were black because the system is racist itself.
