For the record I think that censure for violating the rules of decorum is appropriate. Plus I think that their constituents should vote them out of office.

Well when the Democratic Party was the party of Slavery, Segregation, Jim Crowe, and the KKK. Not to mention the South rebelled against a Republican President. You find a handful of people (who are probably Feds) in a group of thousands and harp on that all day long. I currently live in Missouri and people still wave the Confederate flag here; yet when I went to the Republican caucus nobody showed up with one. The only flags I saw were the American flag.

That depends on what you consider a child. Child labor laws in the US allow 14 year olds to work limited hours. When I think of child labor, I think about 8 year olds working long hours in factories because they have to. Not teenagers, that want to work, working a few hours at McDonald's. It might be semantics; but the devil is often in the details.

Personally, I consider a person to be a child if they're not the age of consent in their state. If you're a child for one law, you're a child for all of them. Each state has their own laws currently for 14 & 15 year olds. No, they're not required to work like some kids are in slave labor countries, but chasing down the supply chain and finding only fair labor practices is near impossible. However, these states re-enacted such laws so corporations could take advantage of cheap labor and not pay adults benefits or a higher wage in a full-time position.

Small businesses who bemoaned having a lack of labor during their prime hours, especially in restaurants and food service, will still face the same issues due to working restrictions during school days. Additionally, there's no guarantee that kids will want to work just because they can, or that you'd want a 14 yr old server in your restaurant. I use food service as my example because that's the single most volatile business for employee help.

As a rule I don't pay attention to propaganda. I am more concerned about the actions of my government's officials, especially the elected ones. So if MTG decides to start waving the Russian flag on the House floor then I would care.

The House's rules of decorum prohibit the waving of flags on the floor. Supporting allies is different than promoting them over our own nation. I'm supportive of Israel but I would never wave their flag unless I immigrated there.
