Hot women and exotic cars - am I the only one who finds it cringe?

I went to an auto expo with a pal of mine, and one of the things I hate the most is when they use hot models to promote the new cars. It's not because of political correctness or any "noble" reason, I just cringe especially when they pose on the trunk or lean on the chassis, especially when they wear high heels or jewellery, because I think of all the scratches and bumps they might leave on the masterpieces they are promoting.

I get it that expo models often are mock-ups, but I still cringe at the thought.

Exotic sports cars are probably one of the few things in life where you don't need scantily clad bimbos to attract a guy's attention. For example, lets say you're walking down a street and there's a hot woman on the sidewalk at the same time a Bugatti is driving down the street. Male instinct will most likely be to look at the Bugatti and maybe in most situations disregard the hot woman entirely. I don't need the hot chick to be on the hood of the Bugatti to admire it as it's driving down the street.

Some may say that its just a form of suggestive marketing - buy hot car -> attract hot chicks. But that's dumb because most people buying these cars aren't teens just hitting puberty. It's an unnecessary gimmick.
