Somebody offered you a million dollars to sit in jail for a month would you?

Everyone will know I am being paid for this, right? I’m not going to be a convicted felon?
That’s an easy “yes.” I even have enough vacation that I can probably keep my job.
If, however, I was going to be a felon: I would expect to never work in my profession, again. So, it would be a net loss of income for me.
If everyone knows, the prisoners would too. They’d prob try to kill you
@DizzyDesii You realize how annoying I am, right? People try to kill me in normal settings to get me to shut up. It’s a hazard I am used to.
I can live with everyone knowing upon my release that I was in prison for some…why ARE we doing this? Is it an experiment? Whatever.
You are willing to get beat up and gangraped in prison for some money
@DizzyDesii The gang rape is souring me a bit… but I’ve been beaten up (wearing padded gloves) just for fun. A million dollars is vert persuasive.
And usually its the guards that do the beating and raping. Noooope
@DizzyDesii I was about to say, “I didn’t consent to rape!” …but I decided that goes without saying.
@DizzyDesii To be honest if prisoners know they likely try to convince you to give them some after, or just high 5 you for getting great deal or something, can't really see them going on to kill someone they get nothing from it, and its not like they got a reason to hate him on that
But if his annoying.. I mean...
@Red-Blaze a loooot of people dont like to see others happy and want them to be miserable too, so i absolutely see them threatening to kill/rape
@DizzyDesii
Maybe.. from what I heard of all on prison if you in there there is kind of a group you become, its an us vs them type thing
If someone so bad to make everyone bad they likely separated, because death in jail is bad on the report card
Over all I think threatening is very possible a kind of send me money or you die
But I don't think they do it in jail as long as the person is not actively trying to get them self stabed
These days? Probably. I suppose it depends on the jail, though. And on whether it'd go down on my records; in court, they can only ask if you've ever been convicted of a felony, but I don't think prospective employers are so limited, and I doubt one million would cover me for the rest of my life.
@driven159 If I were starting from a stable position, that would be true- but I'm not.
Yes but only if I can also get up!
Sounds like an intresting exprince to try out
Beside if anyone ask you "What you in for" replying with for a million dollars make you sound bad ass and is true 😅
Thats an amazing amount of money but im too OCD. I can only hold my pee for 4 days. I’d die from not using their toilets, eating off their trays and utensils, etc. I’ll pass on the money

A better question would be “how long would you sit in jail for a million dollars”.
Just as long I didn’t have a criminal record, probation, etc. after I got out I would do it up to 2 years. However if there was any lingering crap on my record I likely wouldn’t do it.
More often than not the destruction to your reputation and criminal record is even worse than the criminal sentence itself. It can haunt you for the rest of your life.
Hell yes! Of course I wouldn't wanna be convicted of a crime, but sometimes I think it would be interesting just to see what it's like and if I could survive. Morgan Spurlock did it. 30 days isn't long and that's an easy million. And especially if it's just county jail and not state prison. The county jail here only holds petty criminals, so I wouldn't have to worry about getting raped or murdered.
My dad's been to jail multiple times
I'd turn it into a charity-raising event. I'd work with the officials to have a webcam installed in my cell and broadcast it 24/7 on the Internet so that people can see just what it's like to be in jail. I would never leave my cell. At the end of the month, I would give the million dollars to a local charity that deals with troublesome teens, to help than stay out of jail.
Hell yea! I've been in jail several times. A month is easy. I'd probably spend a year in jail for a million. It's easy money. At my age a year is a significant portion of what I have left, but I'd still probably do it.
A million dollars huh.. I mean I guess that is a decent amount of money for a months "work". Although, granted I live in Sweden and prisons over here are basically just hotels with bars on their windows so its not like I will suffer or anything. In fact, sitting inside and looking at tv or browsing the internet sounds pretty nice.
Yes if paid in advance and I can secure it before spending a vacation in jail. But I guess it depends on the jail if there is a chance I wouldn't get out alive. I would pass.
Maybe. I mean, are you labeling me a sex offender? Someone who diddles his daughters or sons? That would get you dead right quick. If there's one thing I know about prison, they absolutely hate kid fukkers.
My first instinct was "heck no!" but now I'm considering it...
(Please don't tell my mom)
I'm just expressing my opinion, I don't think I will, but for a family with a hard life, I think they will choose to need it.
No, I can make more outside of jail! And if someone there doesn't like me who knows, my stay there would be 'cut short'.
Yes if I could be assured I would be safe, and would not have a criminal record.
Yeah I sat in lunch detention for someone for 5 bucks before jokes on them though I was gonna read during lunch anyways
I'm a transformation, so are we talking about a men's jail/ prison or women's?
Also, do we have to have a cell mate and do we have to go through the whole intake process?
With a telly and some paid work and UFO and permission to bring some puzzles with me? Probably.
If all I had to do was spend 30 days in a regular jail cell under no adverse conditions, by myself, for a million bucks, hell yes.
Yes as long as it doesn’t affect my criminal record at all 😂 cause your gonna need a lot more than a million in this life time and gotta be able to still get a job etc unless your smart and invest the milli… but even then it’s a gamble when you invest into some stuff
Only if it will not be included in my record or found out by anyone. $1 million is not enough to have trouble finding a job for the rest of my life.
Lemme me glue my ass shut first and hell ya.
If it was simply sitting in jail and not convicted of anything and I was guaranteed to get out after a month, sure that seems like easy money.
yes and then i'd immediately buy a house so i can start my family.
