If so, are you then going to complain about tax dollars being used to pick up and dispose of the bodies?
We'll no, if they want to eat, our society should be progressed to be able to feed most of humanity. Inability to make money should not be a barrier to a basic necessity. ditto water.
I believe church should be the ensured distribution point of food and provide support that way. Why... it's cheap, it should be done from the heart, and it can provide social support that is essential. Government can help but isn't so efficient or fair.
But if they really want to die, and that's not preventable, is ok I guess. Probably an easier way to die, like take some fentanyl?
The issue with handing out $ is it's enabling some to be lazy, feeds corrupt companies that produce junk food that trash peoples bodies... causing more problems, and doesn't encourage them nor enable to grow or produce their own.
This is an overall battle against the big grinding machine of corrupt printed money that is sucking the land out of the hands of the people, into the hands of the few and government and impoverishing so many. A slow terrible grind...

In this day and age no one regardless of income should go hungry, there’s enough food in this world to feed everyone yet the greedy corporations stop it being given to people in need.
No. In my state, prison costs about $50,000.00 per year per person. And jail is much more expensive. But in the very cold winters, the homeless will commit a crime just to go to jail, and hopefully prison. Can you imagine how many shelters they could build with that money? I've worked in a few shelters, and the people there don't lift a finger to help with anything. If I were in charge, they'd work 8 hours per day. The state would save a ton of money, and no one would go hungry unless they wanted to.

No, it's good to keep everyone fed, at least with the basics.
No the poor should have food I wish my tax dollars went to them over our military industrial complex
How would handle being deprived of simple basics because of no money? Starvation is a sign of oppression which is a gateway of law and disorder. So NO.
Dead bodies make good fertiliser
Republicans would love that.
They could be turned into compost and sold at Home Depot
If that is the fate they want how can I say no?
