naw, i think generally speaking suicide is a horrible permanent solution for a temporary problems. there are some rare exceptions where i think it's probably the best solution. but besides those, it's better to try and get your life back on track as long as you got it. cause it's gonna end either way. may as well try to make the best of the time you have instead of prematurely ending it.

hitting rock bottom is not a reason to throw in the towel. it's the time to realize that it can really only go uphill from there.

No for reason you presented. I'd want them to get help.

But for something like assisted suicide where someone is severely ill, living in pain and there is no fix, just options to buy them time, then yes. I believe some states don't allow this.

I support any decision someone makes when THEY know it's the best solution for their problem.. There will be MANY people who disagree with me, but I've been in a situation where I have almost been homeless and depending on where you live and how many resources are available, you're screwed... Most people rather they're willing to admit it or not, are living paycheck to paycheck.

Suicide is an extremely personal choice. There is usually a lot more to it than what is known by those around a person. You never know whats going on in someones head.

People who want to do it don’t ask permission. Most that fail never really wanted to end it to begin with. Help needs to be readily available all of the time.
