That would go against everything I believe in for freedom in the USA. I would be okay getting rid of free stuff for the poor though, those who choose to have childrent they know they cannot support.

This way, people would think before hand, I will not get free food or housing should I have this child to keep or should I give them up for adoption?

If they cannot feed the child that is already considered child abuse and they should go into foster care.

I say this as someone who lived in foster care for years, it is not as bad as people say it is, I did far better in it than I did at home.

One child costs about 17,000 a year. If you don’t have that at your disposal before you have kids, then in my opinion you have no business having kids. But should it be make illegal? That’s pretty extreme. Though it would solve many problems.

Average income in the USA is $38,000. Many people make much less than that in order for that to be the average.

Income doesn't necessarily correspond to quality of life. Many people with higher incomes have less discretionary spending money because they waste it on oversized houses and expensive cars.

A person making $38,000 per year that after all expenses has $500 per month left for discretionary spending is better off than someone making $100,000 per year that is actually increasing in debt every month to keep up their wasteful lifestyle.

What could legitimately be done is limit food stamps to 5 years total within someone's lifetime like the cash portion of welfare is so they couldn't just expect other people's taxes to pay for their kids forever regardless of income. Also, eliminate the child tax credit because in reality single people with no kids are paying the way for other people's kids to go through k-12 school.

It isn't the total income, it is eliminating public assistance that needs to be done and unfair tax laws. Also, capital gains tax should be exactly the same percentage as other income tax. And Social Security tax/deduction needs to continue without limit past the $142,000 limit. Millionaires and billionaires aren't paying the same percentage of their income into social security as other people are.
And there should be a flat/fair 15% income tax across the board.

So starting job building enough money to start a company which won’t allow you to make more then 40k in your 20s but as the business grows you end up making over 100k. But it takes time. By the time men are 40 years old they’re making enough money. But those men need young women in their lives in order to build a family. Young women need to get married and have kids before 40 the younger the girl the more kids she can have and of course it’s healthier for the women and babies to have kids between 18-25 are you saying ever women shouldn’t marry a guy who is below the age of 40?

Not to mention those who go into blue collar jobs like farming and construction tend to make 40k or lower. Do we not allow are farmers and construction workers to bread and have kids? Engineering and architecture are important, but they’re only one part of the job you need somebody to build the infrastructure you have created. If you don’t have those guys building then nothing gets build. With the idea that you can’t have kids with an income under 40k. You now have incentivized guys do not go into construction or farming because they want to get married and have kids.
