Yes. There isn't much choice. I have not been directly in any serious natural disasters, but I've been in the aftermath doing cleanup. People keep going. They always have.

I remember stopping to ask a guy if he needed help. His house was gone and he was trying to salvage what he could. He handed me a small trinket and said to put it in his trunk. He left, and I realized that 3-4 small unimportant items in his trunk were all he had left of his entire life. He kept going though because he didn't have any choice. I have no idea what happened to him, or any of the other people I met, but I'm sure they all kept going.

When people are really tested, they are very resilient. Most people have never been tested like that, but if they ever are they will keep going, just like everyone else does.

So, the U. S. and its allies did their best to destroy Syria the way they did Libya. When the Syrians (with assistance from Russia) fought off the U. S. trained, armed and funded, head-chopping, radical Muslim terrorists who wanted to turn Syria into a caliphate, the western powers imposed strict deadly sanctions (essentially a siege) on Syria in order to destroy it.

This earthquake hit northern Syrian just as hard as it did Turkey. But because of the sanctions that are designed to kill people, Syria doesn't have enough emergency vehicles or equipment, medicine or medical supplies. It doesn't even have enough fuel or electricity, thanks to the U. S. and its Zionist masters.

But western press talks about the earthquake in Turkey and never mentions Syria.

I would keep hope, lots of it, especially if I had a good reason to live, a husband, kids or a promising future.

If I was dying from a disease with no cure and only had a short time left, I probably would give up at that point in the disaster.

As I hope I have a great promising future and a lot to look forward too, I am definitely not giving up.

He's been dug out and still lives in a country with rampant corruption, phenomenal inflation and scarcity of virtually everything.

Agree. The founding of the faith many hold in this country, Christianity, originated in your country long ago. Hope faith and love are cornerstones.

I hope the resources in your region, the UN, red cross, and others can come quickly to their aide. It sounds very difficult in both Turkey and Syria, with Syria being in worse shape due to ongoing war.
