Great photo! We can only imagine what it's like there. Consider how cold it is, lack of anything, chaos, losing family.

I hate to say it, but humans are a squabbling bunch of self centered difficult people... until they are challenged to come together. NYC was great example of coming together after 911.

It's good to see support for people who have nothing. So many may be trapped in rubble and what an awful way to leave the world.

Multiple this horrible by going to Syria, where they've been in an awful war for a long time.

Times like this... is when the children are vulnerable and are opportunities to avoid the next major war. The kids have to be protected else they are trained to be whatever is in power. not easy to do, but families will have to take "parentless" kids, as communities come together.

Yes, both Goodness and Life is valuable. There is no clearer sign of this fact than when personal and physical tragedy occurs. All Life is valuable whether unborn or born. Natural disasters like Turkey or war like Ukraine reacquaints us with the fragility of Being and living.

Sure life is valuable weather it’s Greek or Turk we’re not living in pre 1820s or 1920s (grease got its independence from the ottoman empire in the 1820s I want to say was 1823, but don’t quote me on that one. I know in 1820. There’s also a war between the Greeks in the Turks after world war 1 the Turks tried taking over Greece to rebuild the ottoman empire.
