For anyone answering this question and that wonders about the asker I was the one to be bullied all the way through my teenage years and now when I read or watch the news I hear how bullying has reached super high levels where teenagers are going through depression or being publicly shamed on social media by their bullies who record it on cam and post it. Hence my question.

I used to be the bully in like elementary and middle school. I didn’t fight people but I was just mean, like I’d make fun of you if you wore clothes that looked ‘cheap’ or if I simply didn’t like you, well then no one did. Not super proud of those moments. But, during like my freshman year of high school I did mature a lot, I became nicer and more understanding of my peers, now I’m the person who tends to be friends with everybody even if you weren’t considered ‘popular’.

I was bullied all the time until I started grade 11... then I started being outgoing, funny, violent and playing "pumped up kicks" for everyone just to make people wonder lol

I was bullied. I was always bigger than the rest of the kids, and my mother always told me that I shouldn't use my size to hurt people, so I never fought back. By the time I hit high school, I figured out bullies can't throw a solid punch if they're laughing. Humor got me through that phase of my life, and it's been a blessing since.

I did get bullied a few times. But only in elementary and middle school. I was not gonna let some bully get away with it. So I started fights in hallways and got into trouble a few times. Got suspended once. It was worth it though. I beat them up real good. They never looked me in the eye again.

i was bullied till i beat the crap out of this boy who was older and bigger in the hallway... my friend video it on her phone to get proof of him grabbing my ass and tits then i just flipped out on him and everyone watched... then i stopped getting bullied and since my friend video it i didn't get in trouble bc they saw what he did...

I was never the bully but it's too strong to say I was bullied. Lots of name calling -- "gay" was top among them but nothing more than names. I just didn't care and the bullies didn't have any fun with me.

I was bullied all the way through Jr high and for a while in high school. In 9th grade I joined a gym and started weight training. By the time I was halfway through high school I was so big that nobody would mess with me.

No, I wasn't. I was fortunate because I was a bit of a weird kid -- 18 months younger than most of my classmates, and the curve wrecker in most classes.
