Were you bullied back in school when you were a kid or were you the bully?

Which one were you and why were you bullied or why were you the bully?

I believe bullying is a necessary evil we need to have. It teaches a few lessons.

Lessons:

1.) The world is full of shitty people.

2.) You will learn about boundaries and conflict resolution.

3.) You will learn to stand up for yourself.

4.) You will learn how to fight and be ready to fight if it comes down to it.

I believe that bullying is necessary to a degree, despite it being a shitty thing to do to someone or have to go through. However if I was the principal I would explain my views on it like I did here, but also expect accountability on both parties.

The bully wants to be a bully? Ok. Then he should be willing and ready to get his teeth punched in by a victim if they snap.

The victim will have to learn how to deal with their issues as adults can only do so much, if nothing at all with bullies.

I was the one who got bullied. Telling adults didn't work. The inky way I got it to stop was to fight them physically and be willing to win or lose, but it got me the goal I wanted at the end of the day. They left me the fuck alone after I fought back.

I answered this a lot on here and people got bullied cause they allowed it and didn't fight back everytime who cares if you lose. Never let anyone punk you. Growing up I was kicked out every daycare and summer program and boys and girls club too lol

me and my family was always fighting and if someone was bigger they got me and I'm swinging and diving in. I remember when I first moved in to some ghetto apartments at 8 and I got packed by the kids living there but we fought every day until we became friends and it's funny & weird cause they are my homies all from the same hood and had each other's back in High-school before i got expelled & i went to 4 more others and had a kid and dropped out and at 19 they said the GED cost money and that Regular Army wasn't taking GED'S or drop outs, so I went back to High-school and finished all 4 years in one so I can join Army which I did.

It's funny when I was applying for certain GOV jobs years ago I had to pull all my Police Reports for the personal history statement and it's on there trespassed from all boys and girls club even though those kids called me the N word, which was reported it was just better off & other altercations, I had to explain all those situations.

Everyone knew me as crazy cause I was quick fuse and was throwing desk and punching whatever in sight & I punked a few people who everyone thought was so hard lol and had no gang or had to claim anything cause I was a leader. Honestly they should write a book or make a movie on my life cause I made it out the struggle no jail time.

you learned a lot. yes I was bullied and not strong enough to fight or win, so I took it.

You learn a lot about life and yourself from being bullied, if you take the lessons and have good mentors. I find Christ/God gave me a view about all this humanity issues... a world view, that helps me immensely. A crutch maybe, but having a perspective over these issues... any issue... helps to resolve it so I can function at a better level of myself rather than lower emotions.

There are times you have to use force, but the better human in my mind, uses words and creates new relationships and positive experiences out of bad ones. That is the strength that can be found. Sometimes doesn't work though... you have to use your intuition and superior senses, which I suspect you have.

Neither... I kept to my self mostly. There were some who tried to bully me, but I didn't let them. People typically bully for two main reasons, the first being they try to put others down to make them selves look or feel better. The second, they are acting out aggressively because off issues in their personal life.

neither really... just the regular back and forth tease, some taunting and banter here and there, but I was never specifically targeted or it was never too much of it

Neither. I could beat everyone so people didn't mess with me after middle school because they already knew the consequences. I didn't bully anyone though.

I was attempted to be bullied but my step brother raised me to be tough and I didn't take shit from anyone no matter their size either and no-one ever challenged me on it
