Is it common for girls to bully guys?

Found this story on the net. I wanted to get a girls take on how common this sort of thing might be.

"The office I work at were having a picnic in the park and one of the woman, around 5'11 and on the heavy side, started joking around and taunting me that she could kick my ass. Very nervously I replied "Well I'm not so sure", the next thing I Know she tackled me to the ground and was sitting on my chest in no time, she felt really heavy on me, and I made a few frantic attempts to escape, but after tiring myself out, I just lay there trapped and helpless. She slapped me in the face a bit, threw grass on my face and taunted and humiliated me verbally for about an hour, before finally letting me go with a promise that she would get me again soon. Thankfully it hasn't happened again , but i know it's coming. I've been trying to avoid her as much as possible at work, but Every so often I'll run into her and she gives me this look and says "don't forget my promise, I'll get you again someday". Every day I go into work feeling nervous and thinking today might be the day. I feel like I'm back in school all over again."

It is really common, although not quite to the extent in the story you gave. Women know they can pretty much do whatever they want to a man with no fear of getting in trouble. If you even hit them back is self defense, you can get your ass kicked by a dozen onlookers, and are more likely to end up in legal trouble than she is for being the one that attacked you. This is why more and more guys are starting to believe it should be okay to hit a woman back. At this point too many women are taking advantage of the fact that society has taught men to never hit a woman.

it depends on the location , in person I wouldn't say female bullying is that common. however online or through texts is a different world , I find girls are getting rather rude online these days so wouldn't be surprised if there is bullying taking place , I've had girls send me insulting texts , block me for no reason or ignore for no reason. or talk about private things I sent them to other girls. the online world can be a lot harsher than we realise

During my childhood I was teased and bullied by just as many girls as boys. Before puberty girls are just as strong as boys and sometimes even stronger.

When I was around 10 I almost got my leg broken by a girl 3 years older and 2 times bigger than me.

I was really mad she would even do that.

Subjective, (sub), wanting to be dominated, usually by the opposite sex.
I mean that's what happened to you right?
You were pretty descriptive.
It's really not that unusual.
Most couples show some type of dominance, although not as overt as she was.

I am a shy guy that gets verbally bullied a lot by girls and I have now decided enough is enough, I am starting to pull them up on it much more and taking much more of a I am not going to accept it anymore attitude because there is no excuse for it.
