Guys why do some bully girls?

There this guy that keeps throwing inappropriate jokes at me, degrading me, and is known as the sarcastic, smart mouth of a genius around school. He's not afraid to hurt me i.e. punch and kick. What does he get out of this? I asked him one time and he said "because it's funny." But, I don't think that's the real answer.

The weirdest part is that every single day, it would seem that he's flirting with me.

This guy's personality is: cocky, arrogant, overly-confident in his choices, smart, and is willing to accept any challenge. By me doing the same to him-the golden rule-it only pushes him to continue doing so worse.

The thing is, I knew him for a long time. He has a soft side. When I do get hurt, he drops the act of being mean.

he sounds like the abusive jerk that so many women hate, but end up dating anyway. don't fall in to that trap. He's already physically violent, even if he's not using his full strength and 'only your stomach'. hitting someone in the stomach hard enough in the right place can kill them as it stops them breathing, except if they've significant abdominal muscles and are ready for the hit, like boxers.

He treats people and women in particular badly because he has no respect for them. It sounds like he's concentrating his attentions on you because he's lusting after your body. That sort of guy though can not know or show love as they have no respect for anyone.

You can tell this sort of guy because he treats you badly and also flirts with you.

Don't put up with it. Guys like him become physically abusive stalkers, rapists and murderers. Regardless, if some guy was doing that stuff to me, he'd has some serious problems.

Because he's mentally deranged. This is not a guy thing. This is a bully thing. Both guys and girls can be bullies.

Bullies are actually insecure. Hit him emotionally where it hurts and he will never dare bother you again.

because he's an asshole, or that's just how he flirts (it's immature but some guys are like that). Try treating him the same way he treats you and chances are he'll treat you a little different... unless he's just an anus.
