Hell no. If your country has outlawed slavery, then it's outlawed battle thralldom- whether they actually acknowledge it is another question, of course. But if your loyalty is to your nation's ideals, you owe it to them to refuse. If your loyalty is to your own hide, you owe it to yourself to refuse. If your loyalty is to the people of your country, then you owe it to them to refuse and not set the precedent that such actions are acceptable. If your loyalty is to your government, on the other hand, then your obligation is to support its wars- but I'd question why an organization that sees your life as just another resource to be used up and thrown away is deserving of your loyalty.
Muhammed Ali and Saint Besse weren't cowards; they were brave men who defied powerful evils in the name of what was right.
I mean we have a volunteer army. If you don't want to volunteer that is totally your choice, I never did. But if it came to the point thier was a draft it is our duty as American citizens to fight when our nation calls us to. And is our nation's responsibility to not dispense American lives volunteer or otherwise without just reason. I would say you're only a coward if you duck a draft. Though I do understand if a person is against a war. And I'm not going to personally judge someone for it.
Nope. I sure as fuck won't. The country hasn't earned my loyalty. Even if it has, my ultimate loyalty is to myself and those I care for.
You're not a coward, you're just smart. Would Biden want Hunter fighting for his military industrial complex?
Thanks for the MHO

Absolutely not. I would not fight for my country neither in its current state. I feel nothing but hate for my government and a big part of the society here.
No, you're only a coward if you're afraid to fight for your country. If you just don't think your country is worth fighting for you're not a coward, just a traitor.
Yes, you are considered a coward if you’re a draft dodgerN
It is.
