Are you kidding? There are so many reasons itd be silly to even list them. But here is one: military tech is finally evolving again, and at a pace where countries feel like they have an advantage over others.

you failed history class. The US is untouchable because of our industrial power and resources. China consumes more oil than they can produce, every country does except the US. The USA is the only country with a positive domestic oil production. And those Chinese planes don't work without fuel.

I think it'll take longer than that. Our government has been itching to go to war with Russia for the past decade or so. China will wait until Russia wears us down to get involved. Look for them to play a supporting role for Russia.
