Agriculture's $1.053 trillion contribution to the US economy is higher than the GDP of Indonesia.

Childcare is a service, like fast food etc. It doesn't produce anything really on its own. Agriculture, industry etc employ and fund childcare.

Also farming provides food security.

Farming is already a very and ever increasingly difficult industry to survive in that we literally cannot survive without, why would we make it worse?

Sex-ed should be handled by the parents, not the school UNLESS the parents opt to have the school do it. Should be choice, my parents were great at it. School was terrible at it.

They have already changed to year round school for grade school here, but since it is rural and farming for Junior and high school it gets out for the summer so the teens can help the families and work summer jobs on farms.

I don't see a purpose for that in big cities though, they can switch to year round school. I would even support increasing the number of days to 220. Get a little longer and hopefully better education.

Parents aren’t doing sex ed. It’s been studied. Especially religious ones.

Why? It make sure that parents get a say on what is being taught to their kids in school. I don't know about you but I’d rather not having my kids be taught to become left wing activists. (Or right wing activists for that matter) I want them to get a basic education where any kind of marxist theory is taught to be just as evil and the Nazis (which ironically was based on Marxist theory Marx really screwed up the 20th century). If I homeschool they can be taught this way if I send them to a private school and vet the curriculum I can choose whether or not I want to send my kid to that school or not. This is known as school choice. When you have the state telling people what to believe that’s a good way of brainwashing into what ever ideologically cult the left believes or some on the right.

Ok so we can’t rely on the state or federal government to give children a proper education. Right now they’re training students to be left wing activists in American public schools. It would be better to put it in the hands of parents to educate their children or private schools
