Why is the US complaining about China arming Russia, when the US has been arming Ukraine for months?

You can't categorize the USA with a broad brush. Many prefer not to become involved with foreign entanglements. We were substantially (not totally) responsible for the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Trump would have prevented it from happening, not by intimidating Russia but by making a deal Russia and Ukraine would accept. NATO has been at Russia's borders for decades.

... Well.. Yeah? By being an ally of a side in a war means more than just supporting a side in a war. It has further implications such as supporting someone who is invading vs one who is defending their own sovereignty. Or one who is committing war crimes vs one who is not etc..

Supporting a side in a war comes with a lot of baggage which can be very objectionable, therefore it makes perfect sense to criticize someone over their choice. Even if it was not, you dont need a moral reason to complain about it even. If USA has picked a side then they can perfectly well attack those on the other side. This include retaliations such as restricting trade or services.

How is this a question?

Because it's hypocrisy. Because they're arming Ukraine while criticizing China for doing the same for Russia. It doesn't matter who is "bad" or who's side you're on. Both countries have the right to have support from their allies.

The majority of countries actually support Russia, and there are certainly plenty of reasons to do so.
