How would you rate the prisons/jails in America?

Are they excellent with very first world conditions for example compared to other countries? Explain..

Much like a country club. My cousin is a plumber, and him and a few guys were doing some roof work on a prison. It was extremely hot that day, and even hotter on the roof. They had to cut a hole in the roof, to do whatever they were doing. He said they were about dying of heat stroke. When they looked down into the facility, they could see people playing pool billiards, ping pong, watching cable and eating. My cousin told me he wondered where he went wrong in life.

Yes they are very advanced. They have bed and healthcare that is free along with free food
