It seems like America is very corrupt and yet they advertise themselves as so much freedom and patriotic. What do you think?

The louder someone needs to shout their virtues, the more you can suspect them.

It's why no one really trusts Americans, not even other Americans! It's rather funny what I read the other day, that the most dangerous thing in America isn't wildlife or terrorists - but other Americans. It's why they refuse to give up their guns, and criminals push guns more than drugs.

Oh most definitely. We are corrupt just like anyone else, but we pretend that we're holier than other nations. Just because China or Russia dictate media and freedom of speech, doesn't mean America isn't practicing their own forms of suppression. And just because we aren't lining people up and shooting them doesn't mean we aren't doing our own dirty killing that is unseen. America just tries to be more covert about it's corruption.

I think there has been no greater force for good than America in the history of mankind. Do we have our faults. Without question. But no country in history has been more charitable or compassionate. Whenever their's a disaster in the world, an earthquake, a tsunami, AMERICA leads the way. The world should pray the United States never falls.

Well, they've essentially legalised bribery of politicians, as long as it's not instant. "Donate" to a politicians' re-election fund and you're likely to find that that politican votes in a way that benefits you. Perfectly legal.
