I think most white people have only two options: (1) be ashamed of what other white people "did" in the past, or (2) avoid personal blame for what other white people "did" in the past. Neither of these options give white people the option of being PROUD of what their people did in the past. There should be four options, including: (2) be proud of what other white people did in the past, or (2) avoid personal responsibility for what other white people did.
White people are arguably the most successful people in history. No other people came close to our advancement of the sciences, technology, and military- not to mention the things we've built. We defeated and conquered other people, who were every bit as inclined for conquest as we are, but WE WON- why can't we take pride in that? We are the descendants of the most powerful race- we conquered the world, and even left the world to put our mark on the moon.
Going back to the first statement- history is described in strictly Leftist/ Liberal terms, where white people did bad, which makes taking pride in it impossible.

I don’t think the purpose is to necessarily shame anyone but rather to acknowledge and teach our history fairly. This country has had a horrible record on race throughout its history and that still hasn’t been fully reckoned with. There is still a certain amount of institutional racism today. You move forward by learning the mistakes of the past. Unfortunately, there are people who desire to sanitize and whitewash that past.

Probably the worst enemies is actually white liberals and black liberals. They are already teaching self hatred immediately upon 1st grade. My niece is getting bullied at school for being white. She is really pale and we are going to have to move her to a new city because of her. The admin won’t do anything. They also were forcing her to be the boyfriend of another black student. I've never experienced that or viewed it that way. It's simply an acknowledgement and it's not for what people did hundreds of years ago. Or at least not just that. It's for what they continue to do. There are people still alive today who personally knew family members who were slaves. It wasn't that long ago. My own grandma was in an internment camp during WW2. Apartheid didn't end until 1964. The KKK is still active today and a former president had dinner with their leader a few weeks ago. Police disproportionately target minorities today. History books have been altered or discarded and literature from/for minorities are currently banned in the state of Florida.
It isn't a "hundreds of years ago" issue. It's a "still currently happening" issue. White people aren't being shamed for what their ancestors did. They're being asked to acknowledge what happened and to quit continuing to do it. And before anyone says to their self, "I never have!" Or "Most people don't!" Yes you have and yes they do. At the very least, you happily benefit from it while doing absolutely nothing to change it or even so much as acknowledge it. Which is equally as bad.

They don't do that anymore. Now they have a system that tracks crimes reported. And since only 50%-60% of law enforcement reports back to the Federal government, they estimate. Either they look at previous years where they had data. Or they simply take some some community of similar size/demographic, then substitute the data.
We all knew the system was flawed before because arrest data reflect a department's priorities. Now it is even more flawed, because it has no follow up on anything. It doesn't even give you data on the incidents reported. And many times it can't, since there is no real incident.
Now there is another report that is way more accurate. But you have to subscribe to the FBI. You may just be desperate enough to prove "White" supremacy to buy a subscription. It is called the NIBRS.

For anyone reading along. Typically in a year, a little over 100,000 arrests are made for violence. A little over 30,000 "Black" folks are arrested for that violence.

As for crime overall, we are looking at about 2,7 million arrests nationwide per year. 676,000 of that are "Black" folks.
So about 30% of violent crime and the 25% of all crime, with the vast majority being drug related.

So this is how ignorant you are. These two reports, the UCR and the NCVS, neither one is a commission of crime report. Neither report is currently used in tracking crime. So now the lie, the racist nonsense you posted is complete. You are using data/reports that ceased to exist since 2019.
Now, I will turn to what these reports used to represent. The Uniformed Crime Report was a report of arrests. It pulled data from as many as 60% of law enforcement agencies around the country. The problem was that as the years went by less and less departments reported to the Feds. The report actually is about arrest trends from some departments. It was never about the commission of crime.
The National Crime and Victimization SURVEY. . . that's right, you are claiming that a survey is an indicator of crime committed. It was a survey sent out to about 144,000 households. It was never a report that documented one single actual incident of crime.
That was the tool the Department of Justice used for a long time.

It doesn't change the FACT that every bit of evidence available shows your people are dumb, violent, and good for nothing but the most rudimentary of labor. You were far better off under our leadership. Every black country worked better under white leadership; every black community thrived better under white leadership (you were healthier, happier, etc.).

Society is shaming white people? Huh? Depending on where you live, "society" IS WHITE PEOPLE !! LOL. I'm white but I feel no personal shame for what George Washington did. He was a fucktard. But what I'm MOST said about, is often it gets repeated today - by white people, or any color. If I'm ashamed of anything, it's not just white people, it's human stupidity as a whole.
What about slavery?
Why should I personally feel ashamed about slavery just because I'm white? I didn't personally enslave anyone, and I think the whole WORLD should be outraged by it, but they're not, and so it continues. Blacks in Africa sold their own people into slavery too - are they ashamed?
What we do know is Indigenous people, aka Indians warred with each other. They did. It's kind of the same thing we did upon them. Black people in Africa also were slave merchants. White people did not show up in Africa and offer them sandwiches to enter their ships. Blacks in Africa sold them to whites. At the same time, it's so weird? Why? Because we use animals to be slaves. Why is it okay to use oxen, horses, cows, etc. to do things we can't do. I argue that human slavery isn't right. But shouldn't it be right?
My opinion on this is well informed, personally related and unwelcome by every race and ethnicity. In 2023, I will knock out anyone who calls me a racist without proof. Because its rude.
