Probably not as much but more so lately have I been discriminated against for being white. And the whole white privilege argument is racist in itself because you are judging someone based on their skin color. Discrimination is Discrimination no matter how you try to argue it.
And you say you are mixed which I've had mixed friends who got discriminated by white and black people. My friend would have black people say she's not black enough. But apparently she was black enough for some stupid white kids to call her the n word. So I know mixed people face their own issues.
I lived in an area where me being white, I was the minority. It was predominantly black and Mexican. I worked the drive-thru at McDonald's. There were many instances where if they weren't happy I was a stupid cracker, donkey, or white girl. People get more angry when they are hungry. But my awesome black manager would stick up for me when people said racist stuff to me.
But I honestly don't believe they are truly racist. Because I'm sure some of those people still had white friends, dated white people, or even had white extended family members. I think people will just say racist stuff to get under someones skin they don't like but don't truly hate the race itself. And that goes for all races.

Yes. We're the only race that's allowed to be discriminated against and hated by everyone and it's considered okay. We even have laws in our own country that disproportionately send us to jail for longer sentences and laws to promote hiring of all other taxes over us. We can't even count on our grades to get us into university since they base admission in skin color (whites aren't wanted).
I do think White People deal with their share of racism, but socially it's acceptable because especially in the states, their history of racism and prejudice. When you look at the culture and mindset that has grown over the years, you will have many groups that if a white person says anything that goes against their beliefs, it's easy to throw that they're racist. The concept of White privilege in and of itself is a racist term because it implies that all white people have special privilege because of the color of their skin.
The fact is that over time in an attempt to create equality amongst the races, we went about it the wrong way, and as a result created even more segregation and racism in the guise of social justice. The scales of equality went from one extreme to another. If we want true equality amongst the races we have to take away programs and benefits that specifically are for a particular race, recognize and respect one anothers heritage and treat everyone as equals
In other words it'll never happen, at least not in the current social political climate.
White men deal with more racism than any other group from what I have seen. Asians also deal with racism. Living in California there is a lot of racism in the school systems against Whites.

They can go through discrimination but it’s not on the same level as people with a darker skin tone. There’s a clear difference in intensity as people in general tend to judge people of darker skin tones to a higher standard than their lighter peers and look at them with bad intentions. (Personally if you want, I would love to talk about this with you asker)
Also I see a lot of people try to use affirmative action as a form of “legal discrimination” against white people in the comments, but honestly I just find this disappointing. Anyone who knows about tactics from “literacy tests” to “redlining” knows the lengths to which this country went to in order to hold black people back in society. They would also know that this type of treatment wasn’t enforced as wrong by the government until Jim Crow segregation and discrimination in the south had ended less then a century ago. (Centuries after it was supposed to end) there are still black parents and grandparents out their who struggle because of that abuse and discrimination, and yet somehow these people in the comments who came to be the “victims” of discrimination have no problem taking away resources from those actual victims to help them and their families.
They don’t want to admit that 99% of the colleges and scholarships accept, are catered and are geared towards people that look like them, since they are mostly give out by people who look like them. And so when they see places being put away for minorities to get a chance to go to a good school or afford a college education they could never dream of, They get upset and scream “discrimination” for taking away a small piece of their privilege to give it to someone who never had in the first place.they deal with far far more. Go to any high school you will find a black club and Asian club a Latino club but even go and try to ask to make a white club you'll get yelled at. Literally every race has their own month about their history other than white people. Look at affirmative action literal racism. They even stole that white people are actually people of color. Is black people Brown eyes black hair same color skin. Is white people multiple color hairs different shades of white different color eyes white people are color not black
It all depends on context. A white person as a minority in a black, Asian, purple community might feel it. For the most part no, I think visible minorities feel racism wayyy more. I never liked any philosophy that tries to be pro or anti anything. Affirmative action is about as much as i think can be morally justified, but only sometimes in as much as it provides an equitable playing field for everyone instead of overcompensating for a past. Just teach the young ones that everyone is equal and to be respectful and kind to each other and racism will become obsolete, a concept in their mind instead of a reality.
The only people I ever saw having a problem with white people have a life experience that more than justifies the distrust. Why am I saying this, if I’m anti-racist? How could I say that it’s justified to mistrust an entire population of people just because of their genetic traits?
The reason is that the mistrust is not for white people as a genetic group, nor as an ethnic group, or anything like that. It’s mistrust for the people, mostly white, who act as a coherent social class with aligned interests who still benefit from colonialism. Those are the people who are hard to trust if you’re not part of the same group.
If you show traits of belonging to this group, there are justified reasons not to trust you.Yes we’re called bigots for supporting a merit based and center structure and racist. We are told because we are white we are racist by nature and we have so sort of privilege over member of other racist.
the white privilege thing is racist it’s self, The progressive and the KKK and neo nazi both agree that white have an inherent privilege over other races. Both basically saying whites are better then blacks Latinos and Asians (which of course is stupid and completely untrue). The KKK neo nazi look at white privilege as a good thing while progressive like AOC and Hollywood look at it as a bad thing.
the thing is no race has privilege over the other there is not a superior race on earth, We are all created equal and there very idea that one race has privilege over another race is racist and stupid. This is why I can’t be a DemocraticI'm not entirely sure, if I'm honest I don't think I've met a white person explaining their difficulties based upon their race.

Favoured due to Professional connections.
But personally I don't think I've ever heard them complain about it just that these are the reasons someone's been more interested or teased them.
If you add their sexual preference when they are anything other than heterosexual they may get odd comments, but generally it's when it's if they've dated or had a friend outside their race that they're subjected to sexuality discrimination.
I imagine if you live in a village or a small town these things may differ.
But my friends never mentioned these things.Absolutely. I can't speak for everyone but im white and myself yeah. I notice it a lot but i grew up in an area that was very very heavily racist and predominantly white, i also grew up in group homes where i was the ibly white kid so like my family, i saw them dealing with racist bullshite from my peers everyday and as a result today when i see such directed at me by soneone who dosnt know me, i give it a pass. Like its an understandable reaction to be distrustful and avoidant of a demographic when 99% of that demographic has treated you like crap your whole life.
We'll check this out start paying attention to all the questions on here about race it's going to be race-bait every question why because our government a true everybody takes their little shot in the arm for this covid-19 once they get over 60 75% of the people that do this there's going to be on every social media race-bait questions to get people pissed off to fight black against White now it's one thing to be a racist and being ignorant it's another thing to fall for this fucking trap I become even more ignorant and fight if we're going to fight we need to become one and fight the people that are fucking making this happen I wish people would quit being fucking little sheep and follow who has the biggest mouth I start thinking paying attention to what's going on in this world we are all being manipulated if we do not become one then everybody's going to be fucked
On one hand white people deal with MUCH more racism than other colors, white people are only one color, on the other hand, racism seems to be a very dominant and prevalent thing, its almost it's very own language seeped into and invaded all of humanity regardless of origin. The common thread with racist ideologies is that noone wants to be marginalized but everyone wants all the ruling authority, while a very small minority believes that diversity in leadership would strengthen public opinion and confidence in the governing body.
No. For white people rhe discrimination is little more than bigotry.
My ex fiancé was from China. Her parents refused to allow her to marry an ugly ass stinky MFing hillbilly white boy. I’d call it pretty severe bigotry bordering on racism.
But look at the suffix. -ism denotes a system. Capitalism communism etc
Bigotry and prejudice against white people is not a system. Now watch all these butthurt unmelanated hillbillies try to demand the right to change the English language to suit their own stupid systemic racism. No, but whites are by far the most hated race as far as polling goes. Research seems to indicate a majority of whites (in Europe and the USA at least), tend to see other races equal or nearly equal to their own.
On comparison, every other major race (Black, Latino, and Asian) all judged white people extremely poorly and their own race as the best one, with black taking the lead by far.
All this really means is whites have no room to actually improve their standing among races at this point. They can deal with racism sometimes from other races which is unprocessed bitterness and unresolved hatred from being taken advantage of by whites.
The same amount or more than other races? That I don’t agree with. I’m sure they deal with it but it’s very hard to gauge that statistic but I’m willing to put my money they don’t deal with racism on the same levels as other minoritiesThey deal with racism but as a minorites? In the U. S. most of the time they deal with it less. When it comes to the south and Midwest, I think a huge percentage of white people are racist towards minorities and a huge percentage are racist towards them back. The only state where I hear white people deal with the most racism is Hawaii. And I am talking about white people living there not the white people visiting. California is the state where people of all races generally get along really good. It is typically even listed as the least racist state. Specifically Southern California. I am not even white. I am Latino.
Yes, maybe a bit more. Some people tend to think it’s okay to bully them just because they’re white. If it’s the other way around and they defend themselves or make the same type of stereotypical “jokes”... they’re racist.
Yeah, so much racism, In China I got so much free stuff being white, definitely not treating me like a random other person.
Serious answer, no, we're not a minority, we're the overwhelming majority. Some countries where that's not true, like some African countries, white people are still being burned as witches, raped, etc. It does happen, but it's the exception. If a black person prefers helping other black people, it's not seen as racism against white people, but kinship with other black people.Yes, but since the person is white then it is not considered racist.
I am white, I am not called derogatory names, but the racism is still there.
There is this stygma I will get "black" co-workers into trouble. I really dont care if you are black, white, pink, or purple; as long you pull your own weight at work.Yes it is prevalent everywhere unfortunately it's not is unacceptable or wrong or immoral to be racist against a white person. If we would just stop calling each other fine and black man white woman black woman or whatever the case may be and just look at each other as men and women who all share a common goal on the face of this Earth and that is to have a happy successful life and just quit putting color and everything things might actually start getting better. Judge not a man or woman by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character and their actions!
so basically, rights for either race can be counted as racism towards the other race. BLM for example is saying that BLACK lives matter, and the only way for a Lives matter protest to be non-racist is for it to be ALL lives matter. So as of right now, discrimination and mainly "racism" goes towards white. While movement and current rights matter will go to blacks. So yes, being a white we do experience racism. Racism shouldn't exist, and if not that kept to a bare minimum. Racism is not a word to take lightly.
They most definitely do. And way more than others because not only are they constantly racially profiled, they are also demonized for something done by their ancestors 200 years ago. Like literally some people believe white people of today who were born equal to everyone else and struggle in life like everyone else actually owe them something to compensate for their "privilege" as if there's such a thing.
I guess that depends on one’s definition of racism. If it’s at all about power dynamics, then not really, not in America. But if we’re simply talking about dealing with prejudicial attitudes from people of other races, well, anyone can experience that.
