Twitter is a platform and it censoring people opens it up to being classified differently which would strip it of its platform protections. You cannot editorialize with a platform.

Also yes, the town square is digital and Twitter is part of that digital town square. We certainly don't go around censoring phone calls now do we? How would you feel if AT&T could censor what you say because they don't like your politics?

The internet is supposed to be like telecommunication companies where they cannot censor you. The exemptions for platforms to sensor was mostly to target child pornography and get rid of it, rightfully so mind you.

But now companies like Facebook and YouTube are selectively censoring people to enforce a specific political agenda and also federal agents were working with Twitter and giving them instructions on who to censor.
