Essentially, even though california has no history of the slave trade. The proposal suggests that every black person shall be paid $5 million. All debt shall be eliminated, home ownership will cost $1. The reparations act will continue for 250 years.

I'm personally for it. I think its idiotic and will crash the economy. Also, even though hardly anyone is 100% black in the US. I suppose it just means if you identity as black, it counts.

The idea is that it will end racism. Seems this will do pretty much the opposite. But i say, let's do it! I want to watch

Ignoring the concept of reparations itself, this should immediately raise major red flags.

If blacks make up 5% of the San Francisco population.
$5 * 0.05 = 250K
So EVERY adult in SF would have to pay $250K.

Does anyone think this is even remotely possible? Whoever made this recommendation totally had their head of their ass. The money doesn't exist.

If it was done on a voluntary basis through donations, the blacks wouldn't get one penny.

"Why did black slaves procreate and bring children into slavery?"
