The left and right have very different definitions of what a conspiracy theory is. So you would have to start with a clear definition.
When the news comes out that you were right all along. You know you're in good company when the first conspiracy theorist was Dwight D. Eisenhower; and he was the president at the time.
Conspiracy theories are usually based on truth. Maybe not the whole thing, especially some of them that are really out there, but a lot are quite informative.
It can be entertaining looking up conspiracy theories.

For me it’s being able to be correct when the truth finally slips out.
Unfortunately, many "conspiracy theories" are proving to be true.
Unfortunately it also means we’ve been right over the past three years.
When they have conspiracy theories about the USA which are usually true.
The best thing is the voices in your head get more attention every day.
The best thing about it is you don't really have to "prove anything" to believe in them!
The best thing about being a conspiracy theorist is that you're no longer required to prove anything to anybody about anything you've said. Conspiracy theorists don't believe in evidence.
