RACISM is "the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another."

Yet, if you disagree with someone with a strong political viewpoint, he/she will call you a racist. If you make a comment that a person doesn't like he/she will call you a racist. These people don't even know the definition of racism.

The continued state of black people today.

If you disagree with reparations, you are a racist. Not because you're discriminating against black people. But because you do not support the "moral outcome."

So now, I have seen, liberals calling anyone who disagrees with anything they believe a racist.

Because liberals believe their beliefs result in the best outcomes. Any disagreement is a vote for bad outcomes. Any vote for bad outcomes is racist.

It’s a silencing tactic used to shut down a debate, mainly by leftists, when they don’t have a real argument. Same goes for the words sexist, racist, bigoted, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic etc.

It also doesn’t matter if you don’t care. A lot of care too much about the words, and they’re easily lured into the trap of trying justify how they’re not, which is the reason the word was used in the first place.

The moment you try to prove otherwise you’ve lost the argument and allowed them to derail it. It’s better to ignore it and not give the word (s) power at all.

That is the typical last straw statement (especially if you’re debating someone of a different race) when they have no other logical response to fall back on. “You just think that cause you’re a racist.” One side politically loves making everything that opposes it racist. They keep us divided, what the politicians on that side fear is if we all come together, knowing all humans are equal and unite for the good of all mankind, they will loose their power.

I hate to say this but at the college I go to it's usually the minorities and far-left liberals that do what you say. Blacks tend to be the worst. And yet, I'm a Democrat.

Not a surprise, I’m an independent cause I don’t think either side truly has all the answers. I think the main two types of people (politically speaking) are normal citizens like you and me who may not always agree but both want the best for our country and everyone in it, then there are the politicians who seek only their own agenda hidden behind lies and dogma from their side. It's a debate tactic of the left. It's because they can't defend their positions. So they call you a racist hoping you'll start debating and defending yourself as not racist rather than the original point. It's just noise. Ignore it.

Two reasons. First, believing everyone is racist gives people an excuse for their failures. They don't have to face the fact that they themselves, and their culture, are the real reasons behind their failures.

And second, they are conditioned from birth to believe they are victims of racism by a political party who pushes and perpetuates the racism narrative because their political party benefits from it.
