What did you learn because of Trump?

Question

I had to become so involved after 2016. And looked up presidential powers to see “if he could do that”. I didn’t know Congress had a. floor vote on the election. Maybe I saw something on TV back in early 2000s about Congress ratifying the presidential election. But there’s so much about my own government I didn’t know about because I didn’t have to. it’s like at work when you see a whole new section of people exist because new shit was splattered in your lap..

So thank you trumpturds…for splattering me.

I learned that if we had somebody in the White House that was not on the payroll of a foreign government of big business the country would suddenly prosper. Trump's America First policies were so successful that businesses began to return and the government suddenly had money to invest in things that would help the American people. He built a wall almost the whole length of the Mexican border, rebuilt the military, fixed the VA, created the Space Force , no longer did the US have to bear almost the entire burden for NATO and we took a long hard look at foreign aid. Also the millions wasted on Kerry's climste change junkets were eliminated.
Now we have a situation where billions of tax dollars are being siphoned off to support millions of illegal aliens, a war in Ukraine, The WHO (AKA the chinese health organization), John Kerry and his private jet, and the dismantling of the military. All this money should be used to help citizens instead.
Hopefully Trump will be re-elected next year and he will again illustrate how great this country can be if it has leaders that are not beholden to foreign governments. Hopefully people will pay attention this time.

He’s clearly an evil genius with an IQ of a million. For decades, he hid his anti-Semitic, white-supremacist beliefs from everyone in the country, including all media outlets. He successfully fooled the FBI into concluding that no inappropriate connection between him and Russia ever happened.

NAFTA wasn’t an actual free-trade agreement, even though that’s what my economics and poly-sci professors taught us. Turns out that while the US got rid of all their tariffs, both Canada and Mexico had all kinds of tariffs and weren’t required to follow US environmental laws.

China is frighteningly corrupt and US economic engagement with China was a yuuuuge mistake.

Before 2016, only two countries in the Middle East (Egypt and Jordan) officially recognized Israel as a sovereign state. Learned this because Trump’s Abraham Accords, led by his son-in-law Jared Kushner, upped that number to 6 middle eastern countries now officially recognizing Israel as a sovereign state.

Sure trump taught us we live no in a live in and just a system that only works for the Democrats and did not work for the Republicans if you are a front runner and a threat to the Democrat party. You will be arrested. If you do not believe that men can be women and women can be men you will be arrested. If you protest outside of a Planned Parenthood, you will be arrested. This is all of your Republican you will be arrested. You are not allowed to hold up signs in protest and you’re certainly not allowed to criticize the current LGBTQ regime,

if you’re a Democrat, you are allowed to burn down cities without getting arrested. You are allowed to push women in front of trained and get arrested, released within the same day. You aren’t even allowed to shoot Christian children and the media will praise you to the heavens and make you a martyr for the cause. If they can’t indict an ex-president for paying off a porn star, and Jerry, rigging it into a federal issue you can be damn certain that we will not have a president in the future that will not be indicted and arrested every single president. Once they leave office might as well walk into a cop car, if the other side is in power, even for the stupidest things, what makes you think that we’re not gonna go after Biden now he’s clearly committed a bunch of money, laundering borderline, if not out right treasonous by taking money from the Chinese. Or will convict him for a war crime, allowing millions Iraq any women to get raped or murdered I would say, is a war crime far worse then what Putin has done. You watch no x president is safe now they take 1 step out of line if they cross there arms in the wrong direction they will be indicted

I said something similar to a friend of mine some years ago (back in 2014)

one "good" thing about all this mess (Trump/Clinton/Biden all alike) is that the USA is about to really look itself at the mirror and learn a whole LOT about the USA itself

we had to realize our true colors... and the extent of our tolerance and patience with this -shit show- the terms applies

have we really learned any lessons though? I am not so sure about that...

even today, we're still very willing to trip ourselves rather than lift up ourselves
