Thoughts on the current Bud Light beer can controversy?

Many conservatives including Kid Rock are in uproar that Bud Light changed their cans to rainbow color in honor of LGBTQ+. At the end of the day it's not what's on the outside of the can that matters, but that Bud Light smells and tastes Ike horse piss no matter what 😂😂

I will be interested in how sales of bud light do in their next 2 quarters. I think it was dumb of them as their core consumers likely are not LGBT and are likely anti-LGBT. So it was a dumb move. My grandkids? Well every generation preceding them may be embarrassed by them. That’s if our children have children as LGBT sure won’t be, nor those who had genital surgery to sway sexes. In 3 generations there will be far fewer LGBT as they will self select out of the human race as Darwinism takes hold of them.

As you indicate, LGBT may have a genetic component and they will not reproduce at a rate significant enough to stay in the gene pool to a large degree. In the past society forced them to live a hetero life and have a family. That pressure will not exist moving forward and they will be less and less prevalent. Perhaps they will blip out like Neanderthals in a thousand years or so.

If these corporations put rainbows on their cans and social media and hire this flamer they get a higher ESG score. This is easier and cheaper to do than to stop using Chinese slave labor or dumping chemicals in rivers.

A higher ESG score means that investment managers can prioritize these stocks even over the financial merits of the company in question.

If you are going to drink beer, there are so many better beers. Literally thousands of them as Europe has so many themselves. It’s a starter beer for younger people but not a great beer or even a good beer with no real flavor. Drink less but drink more flavor. I don’t drink anymore for multiple reasons but at least have a real beer of you are going to do so. Not here to surge, your older self though will agree. Have a good one.
