It's very much like a religious cult. During the day of his arraignment they had tons of Trump haters outside protesting. A reporter asked them what Trump did wrong and they would say stupid shit like, "lots of things." So the reporter would say can you name one, and they couldn't. They don't know what he did, they just know he did it. They're very cult- like.

These religious cults are very easily brainwashed. If these were normal people, they would wonder why we have a president that isn't allowed to answer questions. But they think this is normal because that's what the talking box told them. They believe anything they hear from the talking box.
If the talking box tells them that a war with Russia is a good thing, they will believe it.

Just as the right is threatened by left-wing politicians. The difference is, Trump is an idiot. He served himself up on a platter, especially with his illegal efforts to overturn an election or trying to hide classified documents from the government. He’s given prosecutors all the ammunition they need to put him away. I don’t think anyone seriously wants him dead but we do want him held accountable. No one who is not committed to abiding by elections should get a free pass. That is unprecedented in US history and deserves a special level of contempt.
