Is Trump to blame for the hate in America?

Every single one of us has dark thoughts - thoughts of violence, thoughts of hate, thoughts of committing crimes or other amoral or illegal behavior. These thoughts are a fundamental part of being human. (*)
But, we also have inhibition centers in the brain which prevent us from carrying out those thoughts.
The inhibitions may be due to social norms or religious pressure.
The inhibitions may be due to legal pressure (so, if it wasn't a crime, you'd do it, but, since it is a crime, you don't because the penalty is worse than the gain of doing the act).
The inhibitions may be due to an instinctive more or empathic sense.
The bottom line is that inhibitions normally exist which prevent us from saying or doing various dark acts and part of that is because of the penalties we must pay if we say or do them.
The problem with Trump is that he has narcissistic personality disorder. He doesn't have many of the same inhibitions like normal people do. For instance, he will easily commit adultery or sexual assault. He will easily refuse payment to vendors he owes money to. He will easily cheat on taxes or business dealings.
And, because he is a public persona for decades and __has_gotten_away_with_this_dark_behavior_without_penalty_, he has become an icon for others to disregard their inhibitions... that the prices they believe that they would pay for their dark acts are something they really don't have to pay.
So, for example...
It _is_ OK to lie to people.
It _is_ OK to cheat in relationships or business.
It _is_ OK to be hostile to others.
and
It _is_ OK to attack the US Capitol to prevent the lawful change of the Presidency.
In other words, he has become both a leader and an icon for dark behavior.
In a way, he is Pandora - he opened up a box of darkness in many people and now they act instead of being inhibited from those acts like they were before Trump.
============
Trump is not all to blame though.
His GOP acolytes who echo his behavior are equally bad because they are showing that it is OK to be like Trump - to be dark and get away with it.
Also, though, simply the Internet and social media do not help. It brings out the darkness in all of us because the costs of bad behavior online are not nearly the same as bad behavior in person.
Case in point: Trolls and almost everyone who posts as Anonymous here. Why do they post as Anonymous? Because they don't want to deal with the repercussions of what they say - repercussions they would have to accept if they weren't Anonymous. So, the darkness flows from their minds and hearts because they can with little penalty.

Have you ever had a friend or a brother or sister and get a new friend and basically they start acting like that person in so many different ways you can't blame Trump for being who he is but you can blame people for wanting to be like him If people really did their homework on Trump you received that he has lost money after money after money it was his right-hand man George who brought Trump back a couple different times and then Trump fired him brought it back fired him again brought him back every time Trump needed to get out of a hole did he put himself in give me bring back George George to do it anyway there's a lot of people looking for something in life out there their followers the week and they need something to be apart of something and other people and since everybody is what is to be like Trump it's their fault it's also parents nowadays do not know how to raise kids I didn't even have parents and I'll tell you what parents of today's suck you're selfish just like Trump I don't even want to get into it no you can just blame politicians okay let me lay this out for you we have been sold out whether republican-democrat whoever they have sold us out America is not going to be America anymore we join NATO so so Watch What Happens in time United States becomes NATO do you want to get rid of all of our cops in all of our cities because they want their own Army to control us there's six businesses big businesses that run the United States these guys are trying to get it in control of everything that's who runs NATO there was one man that knows what's going on and that's Putin Putin says fuck you rush is going to be Russia and you're not going to get control of my people I don't want anything to do with NATO because it's a takeover of every country Putin is fighting I don't like anything Putin has done but he's one of the Smart Ones he knows what's going to happen and he doesn't want his people to be under NATO's rule under their thumb that's what America should have done to but we sold out we the American people didn't sell out it's the people that we hire to watch out for us to watch for our best interests China owns all of our national parks NATO has already moved people here if Biden keeps moving people more and more people in see he doesn't care because he knows NATO will take over and run us all you know that they have okay so I'm talking in a big circle I know you don't understand this but anyway here's the deal we are all going to go broke we are all going to run out of food Biden keeps allowing more and more people come in because it doesn't even matter NATO will be running America and every other country except for Russia Putin says fuck you I want my people to be free gas gas and food prices will keep going up there won't be any food pretty soon if you've noticed your food goes bad faster after you buy it I know I sound like a conspiracy person but I'm really not pay attention to everything that's going on that's all I have to say
No, he isn't. For one, everyone makes their own choices. For two, trump did not spew hate, he was just blunt and a lot of pansies didn't like it, especially the democratic party that he called out multiple times on their hypocrisy and their teeter tottering on some really important issues, simply to please the masses and get votes.
Sometimes politicians need to make decisions that people don't like. That's supposed to be their job as federal workers. And a lot of people didn't like Trump's decisions, but they seem to forget how much it actually helped the country.
The federal government's job is to work with state governments, not rule over them. That's the whole point of democracy and trump was the first president in years who pointed that shit out to democratic dismay.
I'm not even Republican and I voted for the guy. You can't blame a single person for an entire mass of people's actions, thoughts, feelings, and opinions.
Excellent insight
@globetrotter22 thank you!
@DataOrganizer27
Same here. I'm not Republican or conservative and I voted for Trump twice (also voted for Obama twice as well, even though I didn't like Obama by 2012).
@MCheetah same for trump. Voted for Obama once in high school but not for a second term. That second term of his destroyed so much.
“I’m not even a Republican and I voted for the guy.”
Traitor.
@DataOrganizer27 Obama got very radical in his second term and this lead to the rise of Trump. Obama and HRC also had real condescending attitudes towards working class whites. Trump was the first President in years to actually connect with them.
But Trump had to be like Tony Montana in Scarface. Is overconfidence made him rise fast but also led to his downfall. The man had no filter and listens to nobody. If he would of deleted his god damn Twitter account back in 2016 he probably would of got re-elected. He was constantly stepping on rakes and self sabotaging himself.
But his actual policy was excellent. What’s so amazing is he got the hard part right (policy) and the easy part wrong (public image). Most politicians are the opposite.
I could swear you have the names mixed up. Everything you wrote about Trump needs to be changed from Trump to Biden. Biden hates American's! But he loves illegals. Why? Because he wants to make sure the democrats stay in the White House. This all a scheme. He is obsessed with winning and seeing that democrats win that he will do anything, and I mean anything. That's what obsession does to a person, even Joe Biden.
This has become so blatantly obvious, even those with IQs around biden's approval ratings should be able to catch on to this scam of a scheme- or should that be scheme of a scam?

BLM started in 2013. Obama was president then. Trump was elected in 2016. He never got to accomplish anything outside of twitter really as his entire presidency was spent being indicted. Literally any decision he tried to make was hobbled, and not just by democrats, republicans threw him under the bus and beat him down too.
He got to meet with other leaders, and talk on twitter. What concrete thing, besides preparing to build a wall, not being able to, and getting the building materials stolen, can you think of that trump did?
I blame both parties for escalating rhetoric and the internet for making it easier to dehumanize other people and their points of view. I also blame the people who get hoodwinked by it and carry out violence, pushing that wedge and divide deeper between ideologies, sex, and race.
Whatever, everything has a rubber band effect, this one will be horrendous. You can't stop people from hating, you can authorize police, national guard, PMC, and others to not be penalized, or actively encouraged, to pursuing a stop to the escalating crime though. That would be interesting.
And there is no hate coming from the left? You aren't old enough to remember the 2000 election and all of the hate that spewed from Democrats when they lost that race.
If you want to point the finger at just one side of the political spectrum, then you are merely fanning the flames of that fire!
in 2020, Bush lost by half a million votes and won. In 2016, Trump lost by 3 million votes and won. In 2020, Trump lost again but by 7 million votes and claims he won.
This why people have a problem with our system. Not hard to figure out. Are you sure you are "wise"?
@supercutebutt lol
Bush Jr did not "lose and win." He won.
Trump did not "lose and win." He won.
We have an electoral college for a reason.
Do you really think you're wiser than all of the men who framed our constitution?
@supercutebutt
1. "in 2020, Bush lost by half a million votes and won." Bush did not run for election in 2020. You should be more careful with the facts.
2. "In 2020, Trump lost again but by 7 million votes and claims he won." He can say whatever he wants because of the First Amendment. Anyone who thinks people should not have the right to express their opinions is being un-American.
3. However, on this site, you do not have freedom of speech because this is a privatey owned site. There are restrictions, and calling people names in this site is a violation of the posting guidelines. You can disagree with ideas but you are not allowed to call people names. Be careful with what you say.
@OlderAndWiser In 2000 Bush ran and lost by half a million. It was an obvious typo.
And our system is a shit show that makes no sense. Losers shouldn't be winners and a minority of voters shouldn't have a larger voice than the majority. It causes chaos.
@OlderAndWiser What name did I call you? Or are you telling fibs again?
@OldWorldOrder Bush lost and Trump lost twice. Brush up on your history to learn why the electoral college is bullshit and how there have been multiple attempts to abolish it. It was nearly done away with in 1969 but one doofus filibustered and clogged everything up. Even the majority of congress wanted to do away with it then. And trust me, if Biden would have won by losing, you would be screaming bloody murder right now. Facts. :)
@supercutebutt
"Our system causes chaos!"
Actually our federal government is older and more stable than virtually all of our 1st world contemporaries, but whatever lol.
I'm pretty sure James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, et cetera, were all a LOT smarter than you are, flaws and all.
@supercutebutt
Right, we should be like Europe and start World Wars and constantly teeter-totter back and forth between fascism and communism lmao.
Direct democracy is unsustainable. History goes back a lot further than the 18th century.
Is @OldWorldOrder your sock-puppet account, O&W? Seems like it. Same sorta posts.
@supercutebutt
Don't know who that is but he sounds cool lol
@supercutebutt "one doofus filibustered and clogged everything up." His name was Strom Thurmond and he was a DEMOCRAT.
@supercutebutt
Here is why we need to keep the electoral college.
www.realclearpolitics.com/.../...llege_132499.html
@MysteriousDarkness Dude, give up on convincing this girl of anything. She is 21 and thinks she rest of us couldn't possibly be as smart as she thinks she is.
@OlderAndWiser Strom Thurmond was a Dixiecrat. Dixiecrats all turned into modern Republicans. It's why the southern states are red states today. You should know this, oh "wise" one.
A handful of Southern lawmakers led by Strom Thurmond of South Carolina filibustered the bill, a parliamentary maneuver used to block a vote. Why were “Dixiecrats” so intent on keeping the Electoral College? Wegman argues racial subjugation was at play.
Southern states like South Carolina were still majority white in the late 1960s. The Electoral College, with its winner-take-all system, ensured that the white voting bloc would essentially cancel out the Black vote in the South.
“[Thurmond and his allies] knew that if Black voters could vote on equal terms with whites, which is what would happen during a popular vote, that advantage would disappear,” says Wegman. “For them, saving the electoral college was protecting their place in the racial hierarchy that their slaveholding ancestors had created.”
www.history.com/.../electoral-college-nearly-abolished-thurmond
@supercutebutt Okay, you have mastered the copy-and-paste function. Do you understand that the motivations of your Democrats sixty years ago are not identical to the motivations to those who oppose the Electoral College today? Do you understand that everyone who disagrees with you is neither racist not stupid?
@supercutebutt
It sounds to me like you just can't emotionally handle losing an argument. 🤷♂️
The hatred was absolutely coming from left-wing news sources/communities. Even before he took office there was admission of attempts to remove him from office. And largely, Trump's abrasiveness came after he received such unfounded hate from the left.
I mean, nobody hated Trump before he said he was running as a Republican. Trump was on The View and the interactions between him and the cast was not hateful. Joy Behar even openly referred to him as her friend. Fast forward to during his presidency, what did Joy Behar and the view have to say about Trump? Positive, friendly things? No. Hateful, firm opposition. Before his presidency, you have a bunch of black rappers taking photos with him. During his presidency, you have a bunch of people calling him racist.
Did Trump just randomly flip a switch one day and say "yeah, I'm done with my current way of life. I'm actually just going to become a mean, racist Republican." Or perhaps are Republicans simply treated poorly and unfairly by the left, and Trump isn't the type of person to bow down and take it? Perhaps the left just uses "racist!" as some childish attempt to discredit their adversaries.
He is partly to blame, but Democrats and liberals are just as guilty as Trump and his followers because they use things like racism as a political tool to divide Americans and keep them angry at Republicans in order to garner votes.
The best way we can get rid of or minimize racism is to stop trying to find it where it doesn't exist. Take for example the claim that blacks are killed at the hands of police at a higher rate than whites, which is completely false. I highly recommend a podcast by Sam Harris (a liberal) in which he lays out all the facts about this issue and others and how guilty Democrats are of fanning the flames of racism in an effort to divide Americans and keep racism alive for the purpose of political gain.
https://www.samharris.org/blog/can-pull-back-brink
I also recommend another of his podcasts in which he interviews John McWhorter, a black American professor at Columbia University, and a liberal, about the issue of racism in America. It's fascinating and spot on.
https://www.samharris.org/podcasts/making-sense-episodes/217-new-religion-anti-racism
Is Trump guilty of fanning the flames of hate in America? Yep. Are liberals every bit as guilty? Absolutely.
And by the way, what you are doing right here with this question is an example of one of the biggest sources of the hated we currently see in America.
If you look back at our past Presidents, you can see a pattern that existed until Trump. Prior to Trump, the half of the nation that voted for the other guy would at least afford the President the respect due the office. I wasn't happy either time Obama won, but I respected his position and hoped he would do good. That ideology went out the window when Trump was elected. All the hate began with a lie claiming that Trump had colluded and stole the election. This was not true; in fact it was recently discovered that a lawyer with the Clinton campaign lied to the FBI to initially start the investigation on Trump. If you want to know where the blame lies, look no further than who was hated, and who fanned the flames. I recall countless stories that occurred almost weekly, all revealing another Trump crime, all claiming to have evidence, individual one and Ukraine and on and on, none of it was true. If you doubt this, then you would believe that, in spite of hundreds if not thousands of violations of the law, a crack team of investigators hellbent on removing Trump from office were unable to find a single piece of evidence to prosecute any of these alleged crimes. So either Trump is the luckiest man in the world, or it was all fabricated to manipulate half of the nation into hating Trump, but not just hating him, they convinced these people to loathe Trump, to outright reject him and everything he did or would ever do, before he even did it and without any thought or consideration. Not only did they encourage disrespect due the office, but they had given the nation a greenlight to hate Trump far beyond what any sitting President had endured. People have argued this point, but in the end they have no ground to stand on. There has never been a President so hated that people wanted him removed by ANY MEANS NECESSARY UP TO AND INCLUDING HIS DEATH.
Which team was cheering on Antifa and BLM rioters? Which team allowed the Portland riots to continue for 6 years? Which team welcomed terrorists to set up shop in Seattle? Which team is letting criminals out of jail? Which team doesn't want voter ID?
Which team wants open borders?
@exitseven
I have to admit... I did have to delete my Twitter account when he was president. Too many notifications when I was trying to sleep. I think Trump only slept one hour a day.
But now we don't have to worry about Tweets. I know that you're in the IT business, because I remember a post about it.
Joey went in front of the entire world and proudly announced that he doesn't know how to turn a computer on. Yep. That's the guy we need leading the world. Yesterday I mentioned that Biden couldn't figure out how to get those cargo ships unloaded off the coast. People came to Biden's defense. They said that it's complicated, and I just didn't understand.
So let me get this straight... we can figure out how to unload tanks, and other weapons in Ukraine, but unloading baby formula and other products is just too complicated for Joey. I don't know how people can be this blind.
Futurist Jacque Fresco said that all of government should be replaced by artificial intelligence.
I mentioned that once on this site, and some guy said that the programmers could be corrupt.
True, that could happen. But can you imagine a quantum computer with a machine learning program that told the world that cow farts are destroying the planet?
@exitseven
Yes, he's the guy that said that some bridges are racist. They're not tall enough for busses filled with black people to go under. The bridges were designed to keep black people away from the beach.
The bridges or overpasses, were built low to keep large commercial vehicles from using that route.
But the left will believe virtually anything they hear on CNN or MSNBC.
Nancy said the wall on the border was racist, and then demanded a fence around the Capitol building. Is the fence racist?
Agree 100% I think as a nation we've had quite enough with the left's radical progressive agenda, open borders, defunding of police, cancel culture, no freedom of speech unless you agree with them, Critical Race Theory being forced on little schoolchildren, the notion that a person's race is the most important and significant thing about him or her, paying five to six dollars a gallon for gasoline because they cancelled the pipeline, etc., etc. It's time we once again had an administration that really puts America first.
@Keyboardkat
If the Republicans don't take the house and Senate in November, the country is finished. The left is shitting bricks because Elon Musk bought Twitter and wants to bring back free speech. When Trump said he wanted to make America great again, the left said he was a racist. Everything is racist to the left.
Trump isn't to blame for the atmosphere in America. Hate, prejudice, racism, sexism and more were all present before he was president. The only thing Trump DID do was make it OK to spew more venom. That's all he's responsible for.
Tucker Carlson does the same thing and I'm sure there are others.
Those who make it acceptable to speak against others because they're a different religion, race or country don't uphold the founding values of liberty and justice for all. Saying a country is inferior or the people from it are criminals is wrong. But Trump has referred to Mexico and its people in this manner and to an African country like this.
Encouraging hate, suspicion and prejudice are equivalent to blatantly acting prejudiced in person toward the people you're referring to.
It's sad he's so limited and blind and that so many listen to him.
@Screenwriter And you just did to him what you accused him of doing to others. President Trump had some faults but he was real, most politicians are fake, they say what they think voters want to hear, President Trump spoke what he believed to be true even if he knew it would hurt him.
You can't fault a person for being genuine.
He was of course his own worst enemy.
@allaboutyou2 Trump DID say what he thought his base wanted to hear. He used to be a liberal Demo and changed to a conservative Republican to garner voters and to win. You think he believes his MAGA rhetoric if he was ever a Democrat?
His saying that there were "good people" in the break-in crew from Jan 6? Or was that from some racist rioting earlier? I believe he's real in some aspects. Like having no reasonable filter. Own worst enemy is accurate because of that lack of filter. But an independent, multi million dollar businessman CAN say what he feels and wants. He's not in SERVICE to the American people and country. He doesn't hold 350 million lives in the balance if he pushes the wrong button.
But he's not a politician. He's a businessman who decided to make politics his next venture. And the government is not a business. It's a service. A businessman only has to report to himself and his stockholders: a limited number of people who, again, are most concerned with the money the business makes.
And I'm not saying that some business people might be humane and suited to go into politics. I'm just saying he wasn't.
And the wheels of a not for profit service are not swift and sure. They are slow and tentative because of all the people who have to weigh in on its movement: the courts, congress, the president, voters.
Absolutely not. One person cannot "make" another person hate anyone. People are responsible for their own words and actions. There are a lot of people who hate Trump so much that they want to make him responsible for everything and anything that goes wrong in the world! This is called "Trump derangement syndrome." They were parading and chanting "Not my president" they day he was inaugurated, before he had even DONE anything, for heavens' sake! It is simply not rational. Do you like what we've got now better? I don't.
Nope. People were already degenerates before he came around lol. And now Biden amplifies it. When Biden got elected i wondered why the fuck so many people had faith in him and i thought "eh, eventually they'll see they were wrong" and now approval ratings for him are steadily going down.
@MCheetah thats true man
Not defending him, but don't put this on Trump.
Hate was already here in America.
All Trump did was give it a mouthpiece to his benefit, no more or less.
They like Trump because he was the first person in a suit in D. C. to say what he really feels and say it with his chest, damn the consequences.
And when called out on it? Double down.
Regardless of whether people agree/disagree with him, Saying how you feel in your own words in a PC environment is going to resonate. People are frustrated and unheard. He gave voice when saying how they feel gets them ridiculed.
Good question, I hope more respond.
I'm not a Trump fan but, from my perspective, most of the hate came from Democrats who lost their shit when megalomaniacal, mass murdering, psychopath, mob boss Hillary lost. Actually, it started with Obama.
She's the one who called half the country "deplorables". And Democrats branded anyone who didn't accept their agenda with names like neo-Nazi, homophobe, white supremacist, racist, even when those characterizations were unfounded.
They were unrelenting in engaging in spin, outright lies, character assassination and name calling. They refused to unite the country.
So I blame the Democrats for stirring hatred and divisiveness.
Not completely. Republican's as a whole are. They are the party of hate. Anything different from them they hate. Kind of funny that Republican's want to "deport" everyone when every single non-Native American is an immigrant in this country. The entire party needs to be wiped from this planet.
Take a look at the poorest States in America, then see who represents them all... Republican's. They drive this country into the shitter. Then the Democrat's have to come in and save everything.
No, it was there before Trump. I saw it under Obama, all Trump did was give people confidence to speak out rather than hide it.
Liberals during Obama's years had their head in the sand, ignoring the rest problems and just expecting conservatives to take it and move on.
People hated each other long before he was in office and hated each other for many of the same reasons before America was even founded. Also you can't really say that he inspired hate without being hypocritical if you are unwilling to admit that both sides of the isle have a long standing history of inspiring hatred and division. Simply because calling out your opposed side of the isle for doing the same thing your side of the isle is doing is extremely hypocritical. Then again I'm one of those crazy people that thinks both sides of the isle need to police themselves more. Because it would quickly stop both sides from being as hypocritical as they are.
Not true at all, hate has always been in society. If anyone fanned the flames of political and racial hatred it was Barack Obama. Trump loves his country, created jobs, stimulated America to be energy independent, improved trade agreements, lowered black unemployment to historic low levels. That’s why I voted for him twice, and why he was elected twice
Trump definitely lowered the bar, basically to the point of burying it into the ground. The president of the United States is supposed to be its first diplomat. Trump with his misogyny, xenophobia, arrogance and aggression suddenly represented the crazy uncle or unhinged neighbor that just says anything aloud. I am not surprised the fringe elements in the population feel emboldened after four years of this freak show.
Please stop drinking the mass media Kool aide. Hate has always existed and will sadly continue to exist. However society has progressed greatly in the last few decades. If you want to see real hate, racism, homophobia, sexism etc take a time warp to the 1950s.
Trumps personality was definitely off putting but he spoke his mind and called out a lot of far left bullshit that is going on in society. Not to say he was always right. He often said lots of stupid ass crap but he had the balls to speak his mind.
One thing most people conveniently forget is Trump was once an atypical Democrat leftist celebrity. He used to party with Al Sharpton. He then saw how out of control the left was getting, stood up to it and found a niche. He really does love this country.
The media and leftist wackos told you Trump was dividing America and you brainwashed morons automatically fell in step. You hatred and disdain for him and his supporters overshadow you common sense and ability to think clearly! Trump is as much to blame for the division in this country as you are. The rhetoric from the left and media is NONSTOP! Biden calls for the nation to unite, two minutes later he calls anyone that supports Trump a white supremacist. Fuck off!!
He's not really to blame. He's certainly a big factor of why it got so big, and he's a key instigator, but America was set up to fail for decafes.
The War on Drugs, anti-communist propaganda during the Cold War (also look up how similar American post-war propaganda is just redesigned Nazi propaganda, it's crazy), Reaganomics, etc - America has been hopped up on hate and racism for decades.
Hate in America is practically your guys' culture at this point.
Lmaooo no. Democrats weaponized hate for multiple elections before Trump. It was Biden who said "he wants to put y'all back in chains" in the election against Romney.
Trump was just the first Republican to use it back against them, which is why he won. It was refreshing and Hillary was unlikable
Exactly. Romney and McCain were too weak to fight back and stand up
@WhiteBoyChill looking back I'm glad Romney lost. I voted for Obama round 1, Romney round 2. But Romney has been on some evil shit.
No. Barack Obama was incredibly aggressive and sleazy with his rhetoric. He was just more polished and smug about it than Trump was. Trump was the Republicans' response. Sure, it had been building up for decades, but the last 15 years has been the real boiling point.
I don't think so. I think that politicians say things that their support base wants to hear, things that they already think and agree with, in order to get elected. That's all he did. Which means that the "hate" was already there.
I'm a nationalist. I'm anti globalism, multiculturalism, feminism, the LGBT community, and I have been since well before Trump ran. As I and many others on the right see it, the left has gotten more and more extreme, and that's what pushes many people further to the right. Many of those people might say that the left is to blame.
I'd say that all we're seeing is increased polarisation which each side pushing the other further to the left or right. It's happening no matter who is in charge.
Hate is to blame for hate in America. It existed long before Trump. Trump can't even be blamed for the hatred that exists between the Right and the Left. There is only one key factor behind that hatred. Political Correctness.
Political Correctness (controlled speech) has been driving this country in half since it first took a stronghold in our society back in the late 1980's, when people were being told that Garbage men were now to be called Sanitary Engineers. Once that happened, it blew out of proportion and people resisted. Other people welcomed the idea. That is the wedge in our society that drive us apart. Remove that wedge, and none of this divide would have ever happened and Trump would have never ran for president.
Trump, aside from being a little crass and speaking his mind has not changed anything about America. He’s simply held a mirror up to the people responsible for America’s woes and amplified disenfranchised voices. Regardless of what Trump does the rage is going to continue to build against the Washington Elite and their corrupt Wall Street corporate goons. America is a house of cards soaked in gasoline.
I blame the media. The MEDIA is responsible for all the hatred and race-baiting. And Twitter, of course.
First off, I’m not the biggest fan of trump. He was definitely very divisive. But, I think Obama was the one who began the division and trump just expanded it. Obama was always talking about race… if you want to stop racism… stop talking about it and blaming everything on it. Saying that the whole system is racist is a covert excuse to tear it down to make something different. But Obama never once gave any proof of systemic racism, meaning the system is not setup to hinder or help people based on the color of their skin. If anyone points out any actual way that the system or a part of it is actually racist, I will stand by your side and fight it. But talking about it and blaming this existential threat as the root of all our problems just leads people to feel like victims, or guilt when they aren’t victims or to blame (respectively) for anything.
While he didn't CAUSE it, he was derelict of the duties of his post, among which is to tamp down such tendencies. He, instead, exacerbated them to his own ends.
Interesting followup question, considering the myriad of things he didn't do that he was supposed to, the things he did do that he wasn't supposed to, and how he generally embarrassed the country on the world stage on a regular basis... And considering that TECHNICALLY the president is also a military officer (commander in chief), could he be court martialed under military law for dereliction of duty and for conduct unbecoming of an officer?
No he's not. The scourge was there long before he was but it got exponentially worse in the early 2010s with the rise of the psychotic SJWs and the people elected Trump in hopes that he would fight against them.
Anytime someone called him a racist, nazi or whatever term is convenient for them at that moment, for no reason other than to poison the well, his supporters like him more because they were doing to him what they were doing to anyone who fought against their narrative.
Alas, it was too late and the lunatics have already taken enough control of the state for them to have the media convince the public that it is their job to tell people what they should believe and all skeptics should be branded as enemies.
No. If anything it's the opposite. Any of our elected officials are a symbol of where we're at. Trump is the result of 8 years. Of Obama. a lot WON'T want to hear that but it's true. The good news is Trump was not re-elected. So that shows the majority of the country is still reasonable. Trump is the embodiment of disenfranchiement. He's the the "if I can't be happy I'd just assume we all burn" vote. Proof of that was he was the lowest approval rating of any president to take office. People who voted for him didn't even want him. They just wanted to torture everyone else.
Lets see, what’s currently the biggest issue in America has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the democratic leadership. Open borders? The media spent over 2 years blaming Trump for kids in cages. Wrong, it was obama. Media blamed Trump for Russian collusion and spent millions. Wrong, hillary clinton and democratic plan to prevent Trump from winning. Media blamed Trump for Asian racism…wrong…China did in fact create Covid. Media blamed Trump for black hatred…wrong…Trump did more for Africans than any president besides Lincoln. The media blamed Trump for Covid miss information…Wrong..:He started the vaccines and spoke of alternatives which DID work but the government wanted the money by vaccines only. Biden kept economy shit down for two years…now look at inflation and destroyed economy…of course there's a lot more they did
it seems like everyone these days are very jumpy and quick to anger when it comes to their politics/moral beliefs, but i would not blame that on trump. people are just becoming more divided, because a lot of people's beliefs are changing (not as a result of trump)
How do you know what Trump feels?
Do you Experience Trumps emotions on a daily basis?
Trump is Trump everyone says things It’s not what anybody says it’s how we as Human being perceive the things people say. That’s what creates our feelings and emotions. So again I will ask You again do you Wake up everyone morning Dealing with the stress and emotions of being Donald Trump?
No, Total Depravity and fallen individual is the Reason for “hate.” Don’t be a punk…take responsibility for your actions. Neither Man/Woman, Abortionist being the prime example, are willing to take responsibility for their individual actions
—Open Leg Syndrome in this case…more Fallen Maness.
Started under Obama with conservatives attacking him every step of the way. Trump made it worse with his brash style and the left was traumatized in the election when Clinton lost… causing further emotional damage. Trump derangement syndrome began.
He didn’t help the matter.
People approve of him for other perceptions.
First off lemme say that nobody can make anybody do anything including hate. Second, when will the people that are constantly accusing others of being racists see that they are in fact the very people that keep the race war roaring. Example, if a person hits me (37yr old "white" male) imma defend myself. But in the eyes of the law, thanks to all of the anti hate and anti racist power groups, I could be seen as a hero, a person defending themself, a person who committed assault and in worse cases a hate crime violator and murderer. And sadly the deciding factor is the color of the other person's skin and the social standing of the community where the incident took place. People are incredibly foolish in this regard. So no Trump isn't even close to blame. In fact, the blame lies mostly on the groups who operate under the guise of ridding the world of hate. Wise up, people!
Of course, not. The hatred was already there. And has been there for decades. We just pretended like it wasn't. Including myself.
Trump just helped to destroy the delusion.
So what do you think people hate?
@WhiteBoyChill I told you before that racism is taught and that racism is learned. You disagreed.
But as an answer to your question. . . . hatred is also taught and learned. But we all know why people use hate. Because it gives them power. It gave Hitler absolute power and control over an entire society. People lived and died at his command.
You call it hate but I just see people wanting to protect their communities out of love
@WhiteBoyChill Nah, that's just a lie. You were taught race. You were taught racism. You were taught that you could hold other races responsible for conduct of certain individuals, while never even taking responsibility for your own personal conduct, much less the conduct of your race.
And somehow, someway, you posit this is an objective, logical position.
It is just superstitious nonsense, for which you base insane batshit hatred.
You’re foolish to pretend that black people aren’t the most monolithic group of people there are. Don’t like 90% of you guys blindly support BLM and vote for Democrats?
@WhiteBoyChill The only measure you have for diversity is your politics. Which is batshit insane.
"Black" people were literally swinging from trees just a few short decades ago. My mother was 12 years old when Emmitt Till was tortured to death. She was 20 years old when four little "Black" girls were murdered in an explosion at a Birmingham church.
But we are supposed to arrive at a different political conclusion to meet the approval of a cowardly racist troll on the internet.
Maybe that isn't something that will happen in the near future. . . or distant future. . . or ever.
The funny thing is, that under Bush, we actually had an active successful push to get "Black" folks to vote Republican. But now seeing just how batshit insane racist freaks are, why would I continue to even mention the word republican? A racist is a racist, if "Black" folks for Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, Pink, Orange or Purple..
You truly have shown that racism is not based on anything rational, logical or objective. From your batshit obsession with "White" people being "replaced", to being pissed off that "Black" people would have the nerve to demand the same police protection as any American citizen.
So why the fuck would a "Black" person change their vote to earn your respect? "White" supremacy only has one master. And most "White" supremacists are either too cowardly or too confused to even articulate an agenda that makes common sense. As they keep thinking they own the entire "White" race.
Fuck no dude. Anyone who thinks that is just extremely stupid. Trump was always a dumb guy. Biden is more stupider. But you wanna know who the most stupid people are? Americans. Thinking that just by protesting and burning down cop cars that they can end racism. Racism cannot end. People need to wake the fuck up. Whites have this sense of superiority over blacks. Blacks have a sense of superiority over Asians as we can see with Asian hate crimes. And Asians talk shit about Americans. It is a never ending cycle of hatred. Anyone who thinks that this conflict with skin color and ethnicities can be ended is absolutely deluded. This is the reality that the media and the pathetic world leaders won’t tell you. Wake up!
No, he just gave confidence to all the low life people to come out and spew their bile.
But Trump is one disgusting piece of trash, he's a rapist and a paedophile , his opinions about women are utterly disgusting, he's a hateful racist that gets away such behavior be of the clout that his money brings. How a single 👩 could ever vote for such a repugnant individual is beyond me!
Looks like you have already passed judgement.
Are Obama, and now Biden responsible for setting back race relations 50 years?
Are they not theactual fomenters of "hate?
Ohhh. You probably went to government schools and watch mainstream cable news. How could you know anything at all?
Just because people don’t like Donald Trump. Doesn’t mean he’s responsible for the hatred of America. Americans hated each other before he was elected. Donald Trump being blamed for the hatred of America makes no sense. Black Americans hate White Americans, and White Americans hate Black Americans. Heck, White people hate Black people when they went to Africa during slavery.
There was more hate towards Trump than from Trump.
The politicians and the establishment could not control President Trump because he wouldn't play their dirty games is the main reason that they hated him so much.
He was one of very few politicians who was actually for the people instead of what was best for him and his family.
No.
Even though I am personally against Trump. After going to university, I realized that higher education is to blame for radical left ideology and hatred between right and left. In higher ed, there is sooo much antagonizing right wing individuals and anyone that doesn't match what is aligned with their ideology. Its extremely frustrating.
No, he is being used as an excuse for some disaffected parts of American society.
I've lived and worked in the US and the vast majority are good people,
it is an extreme minority with a disproportionally strong access to the Main Stream Media and within it, who are to blame for the hate/blame culture that is currently so strong in the urban areas particularly, the rural areas not so much.
It's not his fault but he definitely activated hateful people to speak up. I think it's not a bad thing. Now we know who's crazy, racist, sexist and just overall awful.
I think this applies to a large majority of Trump supporters but definitely not all of them.
I do not think so.
I am not American so I have no allegiance to ANY particular President, but he was good for the economy and also on the world stage. Can you say that about biden?
It started during the obama regime. All of a sudden white liberals were attacking various white folks who actually voted for Obama as racist, homophobic, Islamaphobic, transphobic and so on.
Lol no.. Not even close... This is how it happened to me, and countless others that use to call our selves liberals. We found the right more accepting, more tolerant than the authoritarian left.

It's been happening since way before trump..
It seems that this mental statement has never been addressed. Why ask a question but end it as a comment- accusations. It's good to ask. It shows u want to form ur own opinion. Which means ur smarter than you think. Verify who told you to think like that, and why. Read and listen to both side of the argument. Don't be brainwashed.
he made the unacceptable acceptable he allowed those in the far right to feel like they belong and centerstage. He allowed the monkeys out of the cage and now it’s hard to get it back in. The mess he create it will take years if not decades to clean up
Definitely not. People found Americans annoying before Trump. The media is the thing that creates hate. Plus I don't think all Americans are annoying some really our but I've also came across some really sweet, kind, intelligent people in the America
No one person is the mass producer of hatred. It is often manipulated and egged on, but hatred is a very individual thing and eventually it's just a decision. You as a person have to choose to hate something.
The left is the party of division and hate. Everything they do is to tear us down. When's the last time you met anyone nice on the left? When's the last time anyone on the left helped you? With anything? They wouldn't give you a $10 bill if you needed it to stay alive.
Totally! One man and his plight to create hate that was already there.. Spawned from the depths of New York to eventually destroy casinos and then peoplekind. First there was the Apprentice, then the President, and now.. The Hatemaker! Available on some streaming services.

just a gentle reminder...
Everyone is responsible for their own attitudes and actions
Yes, since Trump was the U. S. President, he made America hateful and racist, he came down the escalators he said, he was banning Mexicans / Muslims, he said they were bringing drugs, rapist but I guess some are good people, he told the American people what the hell you got to lose, etc, That night he was elected, me and my cousin were up late we watched the election results, and at 3:00 a. m. when Hillary Clinton conceded the election to Donald Trump?
I'd say it actually started with Obama. He embraced identity politics and the left cling to it now. Anyone on the right was going to get painted as this racist/sexist thing they've clung to as the boogie man.
Obama started it. He was really the most racist president we ever had. His contempt for white people was widely recognized.
No. People like you are, and what's worse is, you're too retarded to even notice it.
"Everything's racist, blame those f*cking white people and conservatives for it!"
No because the hate was there before him. If there wasn't hate around he wouldn't have become president.
Trump is a symptom not the root of the problem.
