Just depends on where the cutoff is.

If its about making it at all? Women are succeeding better.

If we're talking being in the top1% or so in earnings? Its mostly men.

Honestly I think it has much more to do with our cultural views on what our roles are than anything else. To a large extent many men, maybe most, measure their value by their income. I don't think the same can be said for women.

Basically it is comparing someone who depserately wants to win with someone who thinks winning would be pretty cool.
