What to do if people mess with you?

It seems like guys like to commit sexual crimes towards each other, and bully people. Then, when their bullied victims become criminals someday. People want to bring bullied people to justice.
Kids like to assault teens, and adults, and they don’t go to jail. But, if an adult hits a child they go get punished. People like to disrespect people, then ask, “who do you think you’re talking to?” if you disrespect them after they wronged you, or disrespected you as if your not talking to them.

If someone bullies you verbally, then you have two successful strategies, depending on your personality: you can either insult them right back in an even more cutting, personal way, with a huge smile on your face as you do so, or you can slowly look their way, roll your eyes, and say, "if that was directed as ME, then don't bother. I'm not likely to take your opinion about anything seriously" and then go back to what you were doing.

Bullies want easy targets that don't fight back and who cry and cower and look intimidated. If you don't do any of those things, but instead you negate their attacks, then they look stupid to the crowd. That's the last thing they want.

If someone bullies you physically, then you physically attack them immediately. You will probably get hurt. You will probably get punished. None of that matters. Don't complain about the punishment or the injuries - the important thing is to do damage to your attacker. Let him know that there are no free assaults against you - even if he "wins" every fight, you will hurt him every time.

Again, bullies do not like it when their bullying comes at a price, so they will find other targets.

Here's the weirdest thing: everyone else will like you more and have more respect for you because you stood up for yourself. It doesn't matter if you "lost", just that you stood up to your bully.

True. Most also grew up in abusive households, so consider that too - though that doesn't change anything I wrote.

Sorry, for the late response. Abuse isn’t okay if it leads others to hurt someone through bullying.

Abuse is never OK. Nevertheless it happens, and the outcomes have to be dealt with by innocent people. It shouldn't be that way, but it is.

I'm just giving advice on how to deal with it effectively, and explaining why it tends to exist in the first place. It still needs to be dealt with effectively.
