Nah, it's one of those quotes that sound deep and philosophical, but mean nothing much.

Do you think serial killers and rapists were meant to be loved? in fact most criminals have normal upbringings, but it's their innate nature which gives them their profile.

As for "things", people too are "things," as are animals and plants.

No, that is completely absurd. People were not “created” we simply exist as a part of the biosphere that is the Earth. The reason the world is in chaos is because there are way too many people and people, by our very nature are violent murderous animals.
