My only objection to the party is grammatical- "reveal" is a VERB, not a noun- but the baby's gender is revealed when it's born, not when it "decides" anything. The location of where you fit in in society and they way you feel about society's expectations of you may change what you DO, but not what you ARE.
That "John" seems to think that the validity of his opinion is based on his gender and orientation is a MUCH more disturbing thought, to my mind.

"John" is a moron. And if he was really a physician, I would never let anyone in my family get healthcare from a quack.
