Well, if you want to collect SSI, or SSDI, one of the people told me one time that the best thing to do would be not have income for three years. Ironically I wasn't asking about how to collect it, but rather trying to get medicaid. Anyway, that's a good reason, if you don't want to work, it's a good reason to be broke.
Also if you were a small business owner during the last 3 years, I mean, damn, that's like preaching abstinence in an orgy, tough as hell to stick around.

ANYBODY who has an iq above 90, has some determination, and has some basic knowledge of the field there working in, AND IS WILLING TO WORK HARD, could be making at least $120 grand a year in a few years in the US. Unfortunately most people lack one of the requirements.
