Maybe even President Trump doesn't really want to be President again and that's why he has a bad relationship with DeSantis and picks on him so he will look like a big bully.
I've been listening to him recently and he has always been so positive and upbeat. Not lately. He even admitted it might not be fixable again. I agree 100% with Trump.
The United States is so messed up that it's become a sh*thole.
Every which way you look it's bad or will be soon.
I am just glad I am old and won't be around for the mandatory electric fiasco!

A government survives for 250 years. We're on year 247. It's safe to say America has gone soft. Everything is either racist or politically incorrect. You can't say anything to anyone anymore without them throwing a tantrum like a two-year-old.

People have no respect for others. They just say whatever they want and do what whatever they want. Whatever bit of respect I had for Donald Trump, I lost that respect when he put the idea in his supporters' head to storm the capital building and hang the vice president.

I would NEVER respect a man like that. Murder is murder, violence is violence. There's no exception. I always thought Betty White was suite as pie, but if she came back from the dead and went on a killing spree, I'd lose respect for her too, lol.

People are disgraceful. When this country collapses all the way, a majority of the people are NOT going to know WHAT to do, because people are lazy. So many of them live off the system, they don't even TRY.

Where I live there are so many people on disability for so many dumb reasons, you wouldn't believe me if I told you what some of them were. One lady is on disability because she told them she didn't know how to read, but yet, she signs her own checks, picks up her own prescriptions, reads people's posts on Facebook all day. I really hope one day this country wakes up and realizes, people are stealing from the hard-working.

I don't know what State you live in, but in California just the opposite is happening and started in 2000. People have lawyers they've hired and a lot of medical proof that they are disabled. They get turned and told to get back on the waiting list to bring it to court again, perhaps for their appeal? Anyway, the waiting list to get a court date is two years long!! You have to wait!!!

Yeah, they usually ask for medical proof, I thought. These people lie though. They play dumb and pretend not to know how to answer questions. I live in a trash town in Ohio. I just moved here 5 months ago. The part of Ohio I lived in last year, there were very few lazy people, and they took care of their homes, and the streets were taking care of. Here, nope. Almost every person is on drugs. The homes are falling apart because their meth labs blow up all the time, or they jusy been abandoned for so long. There's drug busts every day. I know there's drugs everywhere, but here, drug dealers are around every corner. They sell them on playgrounds, in the park, and in their houses. The ones on food stamps sell them. When I was volunteering down at the shelter, they all sold them to buy cigarettes, and some people, alcohol. I have never lived in a place like this. I didn't know it was this bad until I moved here.

I don't know much about disability, but when I was volunteering down at the shelter, we were helping people file for it, and most of them got approved in 2 or 3 months. These people know how to work the system. One family staying there, their whole family collected it. Mother, father, two sons, and sister. I don't get how a whole family can be disabled. I would never put down homeless people because it's a serious problem. The problem is, most of the people their were thieves. I can understand if someone needed to eat, and needed to steal food, but these people stole money from the church collection plate, broke into cars to steal phone adapters. One man even stole a car battery.
It's still safer that New York though. I mean, I don't think there's any gangs here, and there's no hate crimes that I know of. There are shootings though, and the occasional stabbing, and it's usually over a drug transaction gone wrong.
The last town I lived in didn't have a drug task force, but this one does. That should have been my first sign there was trouble.

Not without some major changes, no. I have yet to see ANY candidate for ANY office who's got sane enough ideas to fix ALL the problems the country's facing; even Tulsi was an idiot when it came to nuclear power. It's too dangerous? Finding a place to store spent fuel rods is WORSE than taking hundreds of tons of coal and oil smoke and storing it safely in people's lungs?

The American empire was already starting to crumble- but an empire falling apart doesn't mean the country does; the UK and Holland are doing fine, France is (civil disorder aside) okay, and even Spain, Turkey and Portugal aren't exactly third-world hellholes. Unfortunately, the rising tide of authoritarianism, coupled with denial of basic realities of biology AND physics, is looking to knock it all down- losing 80% of our electrical capacity would kill millions; looking 80% of our energy capacity would probably spark world war 3.

I'm betting that don picking on Ron is nothing more than a wrestling tactic. 7 years ago, he was picking on Rand Paul but, they're both fighting for the same things. After he won the election, he stopped maligning Rand. It's like in wrestling: it's all just for show! You got two guys that are about wrestle each other and they both put each other down maliciously before, during and after the bout, like they hate each others' guts but, back in the locker rooms, they're buddy/buddy and probably go out for dinner and drinks together.

When Trump was President, America was still put together. Criminals went to jail, violence and distruction of cities wasn't a thing. We still had our monuments and statues of people that made America great. Plus so much more...
But the way America 🇺🇸 is now, too many crazy bad things are still happening with no hope in sight.

Not really true, I live in the Chicago land area and criminal where not being put in jail in Chicago, they are allowed to kill and rob and rape and still let out even in the Trump era.

It will take a drastic effort on the part of our leaders. The president cannot do it all by himself. I m not sure this can happen because so many of out politicians are bought and paid for by foreign countries or big business.

@Pterodon That's my point. Even Republicans cannot fix the mess the democrats have turned the USA into. For one thing, America still has a long way to go before any help would be on the way. In the meantime, more death and destruction everywhere with no help in sight.
There is no help that could undo the destruction the crazy people have done to it and still more to come.
