She’s doing what the senior executives want her to do. They’re doing what Larry Fink wants them to do. Who’s Larry? He’s the guy who runs Blackrock. Blackrock, with State Street and Vanguard, control assets worth more than the US annual GDP. Larry also has a contract with the Fed to manage the assets it acquires directly to support its balance sheet or influence the economy. So here we are, with over half of GDP government activity, with 90% of publicly listed companies having one of the big three asset management firms as a major shareholder, and Blackrock controlling the investments of the largest investor (the Fed). There is almost zero actual capitalism here. So basically, Larry is the USA’s version of the Soviet economic commissar. Larry also happens to be very, very “woke.” So if you want to stay on the gravy train and avoid having your stock crash, you will be woke too.

The information you are reading is anecdotal evidence. There is no way to see the actual impact of the sponsorship until at least 6 months from now. The information you are reading is also about stock prices NOT sales. Losing 3-6b in stocks is nothing for a company like that. Literally dropped far more dramatically in October last year.

Not much of a beer drinker myself either. If I do drink it's usually Jack Daniel's but I'll pick up a bottle, forget about it for a few months, do a shot, forget I have it for a few more months... I can make 1 bottle last over a year, and not the big bottle.

@Sixgunsound Right now, there's at least one shoe box under my bed with at least a dozen tiny bottles of booze in it that grandma would get on the planes on her many trips to Italy, Hawaii and who knows where else! This used to be her bed and her house. There's also lots of booze in other places in the house. i don't drink so, they mean nothing to me. MAYBE, SOME DAY I'll dig out the Schnapps and have a shot or two of that. That's the only booze I ever actually drank and, after the first dozen or so shots over about half a year, I never touched it again. I've TASTED beer, champagne and vodka but never actually drank any of them.
One day, when I was about 14, there was a party here and my aunt asked me if I wanted to try a creme de menth. I had no idea what it was so, she insisted I try it. She went away for a minute and brought it to me. I tried it and liked it but I don't think I ever had more than one or two. Decades later (a few years ago) I asked her about that and she laughed and said she just gave me mint ginger ale! I've had mint ginger ale dozens of times since then and that's NOT what that drink tasted like that she gave me!
I don't know the exact date she gave me that drink but I can pinpoint it with some internet searching. Whatever day it was, it was the very first time they showed "2001: A Space Odessy" on network t. v. and I'm very sure it was on ABC. My guess would be Christmas or New Years between 1970 and 1972.
