What does someone saying "I'm sorry" mean to you?

Usually people are apologetic when they're caught. It's like they weren't sorry they did something wrong, they're sorry they got caught.

I accept it to say the least. But even i have said sorry in the past just because its the right thing to do. Now i hardly say it if deep down i dont mean it

Exactl! Because most people wouldn’t come to you to admit what they did wrong unless they got caught. An apology means nothing I’d the person continues to do whatever they apologized for.
