That is to say, if you could, would you want to be perceived outside of the constructs of gender? Not seen as a man or a woman, but rather just as yourself?

I am extremely comfortable with my femininity and with feminine gender roles. I don’t agree with all of them or see them as hard and fast rules, but gender roles do not offend me. In some (not all) circumstances, I think they can actually be a good thing. My partner, for example, gets a lot of fulfillment out of providing for me, whereas I find fulfillment in cooking for him and taking care of the house. Both of us work and both of us cook/clean, but we have very clear roles where one of us is the primary provider and one is the primary nurturer.

I guess it would be nice, at least for some of the time. We pretty much have this exact situation right here on GAG, because who can  really  tell who is male or female? The profile photo? Many of them look fake to me.

Gender is not a bad or evil thing. All these Gen Z and millennials that try and make themselves the center of attention by coming up with all this non-binary nonsense is ridiculous. I am all for people living the lives they want to live. But I should not be required to be pulled into your nonsense.

I think here in Japan, the constructs of gender aren't too tight anyway in ways that affect me negatively. If I want to wear a Hello Kitty cat shirt with glitter all over, that's not even that weird. I don't want to wear such a shirt but if I did, no problem.

That's how I try to view people. You are a human being, first! THEN the breakdown between sexes happens, THEN the breakdown of ethnicity. For instance, if I'm hiring for a job, I couldn't give a shit what colour you are, what you've got dangling between your legs or who you choose to fuck!! I'd hire according to who I think can best do the job they're being hired for!! Likewise, I don't much cater to clothing worn, either. Kinda like that punker chick in CSI, (Abbey? Gabby?) she's VERY good at what she does so, I'd really not give a shit what she wears to work! Come naked, if you want! It wouldn't bother me!! As long as you get your work done and done well!!

We have enough of that already. Femininity is destroyed, masculinity is warped. We need to go back to our roots and be proud of who were are as male and female.

I am very much in touch of my masculinity and have no problems with anything that is seen as more feminine. I wear pink dress shirts, have flower print bow ties. Who cares? I am still a man's man.
