I have zero issues with abortion... Unless its used as a method of birth control... There are stories out there of women who have had 20+ abortions.. No respect for that. If she felt the need to abort that many times she should not be having sex. I also have a huge issue with late term abortions.. As in the point where the baby can survive outside of the mother's body, I have heard stories where the baby was alive and crying and the abortionists just killed it... Any time prior to that i just do not care.

For example, i would not stop my wife from getting an abortion.. I also would not stay married to her, I would divorce her, and kick her out of my home. But i would not stop her.

I also believe that abortion should not be publicly funded. As in not tax payer funded, It should be 100% on the mother if she wants an abortion for her to pay for it, and no one else, because after all, its her body her choice.

I also believe that if abortions for women exist, then the same, in the financial sense should exist for men. As in He should be able to sign a document that says he wants nothing to do with it and cannot be held responsible for it in any way including financially, because again, its her body her choice.. Well his wallet his choice.. And no signing his rights away does not work. Most states, a man has to be willing to adopt the child before the father can sign his rights away. Oh and Even in cases of rape, where the man was raped by the women, he is still financially responsible for it. Check the case Hermesmann v. Seyer on that. An 11 year old boy was raped by his babysitter. A child resulted, and he was forced to pay support for it. His family should have been given full custody.. But because the legal system favors women over men when it comes to children the rapist was given the child and the victim was forced to pay child support.

There is EXTREME inequality when it comes to reproductive rights on both sides, and it doesn't just orbit around abortion.

I get the whole "it's my body speech", but it's small minded to think it is as simple as that. You are taking a human life, so there will be people will be against it. Keep in mind, I think abortions should be legal, but say it for what it is. It should be treated seriously, which I think most women do.

However, a lot of women out there do not treat it that way, and go as far as bragging about it, which worsens it's reputation/image significantly. Also, there are abortions out there that happen when the father wanted to keep it (I know this one is more complicated, but it is still an issue)

Does the same apply to you killing someone who has been born? It’s not my business because it is your choice? Obviously, you know that the debate is whether it IS your body. If the unborn child is a person, then it is societies business to tell you not to kill him. If one believes the unborn child is a person, then it is clearly senseless to tell them “it’s my body.”

So, you know why people are against abortion. You just choose to pretend that there is no moral uncertainty. I respectfully suggest that you try to see and respect other people’s moral convictions.

I just made a thread about the fact east Asian nations count your age from teh moment of conception, because you are a human being from the moment of conception.

The Roe vs Wade ruling was always illegal. The Supreme Court does not have the right nor power to redefine life itself nor do they have the power to legalize the murder of unborn children. The Congress does nt have the power to legalize abortion either.

Because of unfair treatment of biological fathers

- She has abortion, father has no say, its her body etc.

- She keeps it, the father can be legally bound to pay maintenance for 18 years by a court.

Scrap that legal obligation, then women can do what they want.

It's not that simple. Some people view abortion as taking the life of an innocent human being. As such, that is something that society as a whole can establish rules about. Sondine who commits a crime is not your body, yet it's perfectly legitimate for society to deal with that.

I can see they have a done a number on you young one, it is not as simple as that. There are morals to be considered, for instance abortion should not be used as a form of contraception or allowed because of the babies disabilities. Women these days think they can cherry pick equality based upon what suits them.

I'm legally pro-choice and I agree that the government has no business interfering in any medical decisions whatsoever. However it's the epitome of hypocrisy to want the government to stay out of medical decisions, but then want that same government to pay for those same medical decisions with other people's tax dollars.

But you can't be cutting the kid's brain and aborting it just before it's coming out the womb.
