Absolutely. Literally every data point is in uncontrolled decline:


Lower life expectancy, lower birth rates, less marriage, less sex, less jobs, less housing, higher inflation, the stock market is controlled directly by the fed, the economy is weakening, our enemies are allying with eachother, our military is wavering, we accept every degenerate position by default. Racism, sexism and hatred of our fellow countrymen is mainstreamed as justice and equity. The government is completely corrupt, law enforcement goes after people for defending themselves or otherwise law abiding citizens for minor crimes. A YouTuber just got sentenced to 45 years for selling bits of metal that the ATF randomly reversed it decision and determined that it constituted a machine gun. Rapists and murderers get less time. Corporations can bribe the government and our food and drugs are contaminated or cancer causing. Unfettered immigration, human trafficking, drugs and other substance abuse plagues our streets with homelessness and mental illness.


Basically we’re speed-running the Roman collapse. I’d give the country 5-10 years before America is no longer the United States.

Damn, I worked hard all my life and now that I am getting ready to retire the country has to offer off the rails. I just have to think back 3 years, before covid and before Biden. America was on the verge of greatness.

I heard they empires live an average of 300 years or something like that. I think the idea is that they just too authoritarian to be sustainable and then they collapse and a new era rises from the ashes that has either learned from the previous era's mistakes (for now until they inevitably make the same mistakes again) or are corrupt from the getgo and fall in less than a century just like countless communist countries.

The USA is probably about at complacency. We were there before, under British King George lll. But this time, Patriots are better armed and do not need the Germans or French to help us out. We will never return to bondage. An armed uprising and bloodletting are coming. As with our first Revolution, only a minority of Patriots are needed. The rest will huddle at home and wait for the outcome. Fewer than 10,000 mouthpieces need to "retire". They, undoubtedly, are already on a "Disposition Matrix". 300 million privately owned firearms including 80 million AR15's will be sufficient to get the Bad Guys' attention. We will live in interesting times.

America is in a slump/ People do not remember how the country was just two years ago. Laws were enforced and people were hopeful. Businesses were coming back and we had record employment. We also had low inflation and low energy prices.
I think that with the right leadership we could have those days back again.

Most people in other countries consider the United States to be an empire. And, by any reasonable standard, the USA is an empire. Since the beginning the United States has invaded, made war, and annexed land from other countries. They made war against the Indians and took their land. The USA took Texas from Mexico, they took Hawaii with force. and the have many other countries and even now are making war on other countries including Russia to take their resources.

What Are Petrodollars?

Petrodollars are crude oil export revenues denominated in U. S. dollars. The term gained currency in the mid-1970s when soaring oil prices generated large trade and current account surpluses for oil exporting countries.

Then as now, oil sales and the resulting current account surpluses were denominated in dollars because the U. S. dollar was—and remains—by far the most widely used currency. The U. S. dollar's global popularity does not depend on the good will of oil exporters. It is based on U. S. status as the world's largest economy and goods importer, with deep, liquid capital markets backed by the rule of law as well as military power.

Petrodollars are U. S. dollars received in return for oil exports. S. dollar is unlikely to be supplanted as the global payments currency of choice in the near term.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about petrodollars and their long-term impact on the US and global economies. They eventually will impact OPEC countries but even some of them are smart enough to understand the long-term. Saudi Arabia knows that, one day, the oil will run out, so they are investing in... solar power! After all, Saudi Arabia is mostly desert with abundant sunshine - sunshine that can be converted into electricity and sold to other nations.
