Why is India regarded as an inferior country? Why is the West crazy about East Asia?

A friendly reminder:The favourite countries of the Western people wouldn't hesitate while bombing you. India, on the other hand, has a history of being peaceful and only defends itself (never attacking first to become a bully "superpower")

What's more, the Taj Mahal is too marvellous to be ignored by those who prefer pretty boring walls and yes we don't create viruses in our labs. The servile attitude of the West towards China, Japan and Korea is on the extreme side.

India is by no means an inferior country and its rich history and millennial heritage are proof to that. The problem with contemporary India is mostly due to demographic explosion, something every country in the world has faced or is still facing, although nowadays it's less common in the West given how fertility rates have been increasingly lower decade by decade.

Social prosperity is cyclical and India is kinda destined to become the 2nd or even 1st economy in the next century. Meanwhile, I don't see a prosperous future for the West due to its extreme contradictions and potential for divisiveness and social fracture.

Having the Taj Mahal and Bollywood doesn't cancel out the fact that your country has serious hygiene issues, scams people, and is dangerous for women and minorities. India is still extremely backwards in many ways. And Indian men are annoying because they think so highly of themselves.

India is not an inferior country, in fact no country is inferior or superior. What happens is that some countries are regarded as "superior" because of their wealth, political, social, economic or military power.

Perhaps Westerns are crazy about East Asia because East Asians have lighter skin. While many Indians have darker skin. To me, this is a case of racism.

Compared to which other countries? Modi is going to ruin it in the name of Hindu nationalism. This will further drive the most talented overseas. Most intelligent people won't sit still for that if they have any alternative.
