Why do young men commit crimes and join gangs?

Especially in the inner cities like Chicago and New York. Where are the parents? I would never be okay with my son being a gang banger or criminal.

it gives them a sense of purpose and it's good ticket for them to get laid. less young men would be inclined to join gangs if women weren't so willing to spread their legs open for them. it's no wonder the world is fucked up.

bad men whether at the top e. g. corrupted politicians, celebs, CEOs etc. or at the top e. g. bullies, drug dealers, abusers, thugs etc. get rewarded and good men get screwed over which may explain why less people are believing in God every year

I think you answered your own question. The parents dont care or are dead. Those type of stuff goes in families. Kids learn from what you do not what you say most of the times. But there are rare cases when the kid acts the absolute opposite too.
