Q2: we can't afford to have a weak military. Our riches depend on the world fearing our military. The second its no longer feared we are fucked. We manufacture nothing of value. We are useless.

Nikki Haley would definitely increase the size of the military, even if we didn't actually need to. Her entire brand in foreign policy is very much "carry a big stick," even before factoring in she's an unabashed neocon.

Kamala Harris would more than likely continue castrating it at least until a war actually broke out. Most other leftists, male or female, are also largely unconcerned about the military until it's too late.

It's a difference in political stances.

A lot of military spending is wasted. Reducing grift and corruption wouldn't reduce the size or effectiveness of the military.
