So…what’s happening with Disney and Desantis?

I haven’t been paying attention to the Florida details. But my lawyer’s newsletter just said Disney outfoxed (out-moused?) Desantis with a law from the 17th century and Disney’s new rights extend as far as Meghan Markles’ latest spawn…. because the laws from England.

I’m not sure about this development. But basically Disney owned and have special government privileges. She basically be a government of themselves in Reedy creek Florida. They hired there own police force they would maintain the district come out with there own taxes in the district etc basically almost a sovereign nation is the middle of Florida (not sovereign of course but other then having there own country and flag they pretty much ruled over the Reedy creek district) DeSantis has gone to war with Disney to stop there “ not so secret gay gender”. Which they openly admitted to. When they spoke out against Florida parental rights protection act (the don’t say gay bill). Which all I did was tell school you’re not allowed to talk about sexual issue with child under 8. Disney opposed it so DeSantis took away the almost sovereignty they had and would now be subjected to the laws of the state. No other business in America has much privilege as Disney. Of course Disney is pisted and want to get that back so they’re sueing saying it’s unconstitutional on the federal level. (Which it’s not government has the ability to control commerce hence why no one can grow wheat in there back yard due to a Supreme Court decision in the 1930s). So lawsuits of going to continue DeSantis has basically fired every George Soros back DA and so in Florida this is likely going to go to DeSantis. Ultimately, I think this case will make it to the Supreme Court.

That's old news. The latest is that Disney is introducing into evidence... DeSantis' own book!

Even if legally DeSantis somehow stumbles into some court victories, he's become so unpopular in part because of this that he loses anyway. He's shown he's as thin-skinned as Trump because he's crying Disney disagreed with him. He's trying to punish them for disagreeing with him like it's Communist China or something. He's trying to control business with excessive government intervention. He's banning all sorts of stuff because he doesn't like it. Soon you'll be lucky if you can read a book in Florida. He's done so many things that are opposite of what Republicans stand for that even if he thinks he ended up beating Disney somehow, he has already lost.
