Update: I heard that it is Kamala that will meet with them today. Wouldn't you like to be in the room with those guys after Kamala leaves the room? I bet they will be making fun of her.

Tech giants have vowed many times to combat propaganda around elections, fake news about the COVID-19 vaccines, racist and sexist messages, pornography and child exploitation, and hateful messaging targeting ethnic groups. So far they have failed. Research has shown The high number of fake and misleading "news" articles continue to grow, many produced by AI. Yet the number of people believing what is said by these groups continues to grow. Just look at the people who watched the January 6 events orchestrated by Trump, and have seen the evidence proving Trump tried to get real votes thrown out and fake votes replacing them, and his attempts to have Republican governors override the voters of their states, yet they continue his attempts to overthrow democracy and sell us out to Putin.

It's a responsible President trying to get a handle on quickly evolving technology that can represent a threat or boon to the US. Congress is actively looking into artificial intelligence too. So should President Biden because Presidents should know about bills they sign or veto.
