Racism isn’t socially acceptable anymore, so not many readily admit to racism. And people know it’s morally wrong, so they’ll harbor racial beliefs, and justify by another means.

In general, people are very ignorant to other’s experiences, so people think that another race has it sweeter than they really do. This applies to both white and black people.

I assert that the definition of racism has become distorted due to political and cultural factors, to the point where it's lost its significance. This is 2023, and I readily admit that racism is real. However, there's a stark difference between what was considered racism in my childhood during the early 2000s and what is labeled as such today. Back then, being colorblind, as I was growing up in a multicultural area, was seen as the remedy for racism. Nowadays, it's ironically labeled as a form of racism. It's crucial to understand that such terminology can be manipulated as political weapons to secure a solid voter base. While everyone tends to recognize patterns and biases, it's vital to resist these biases and recognize the complexity of human beings. I see today's version of racism as trivialized, with people often exploiting the race card. I don't take the term as seriously now, and I believe many others share my sentiment.

Perhaps there is a greater level of complexity than simply labeling these terms as buzzwords. It might be beneficial to look beyond any preconceived notions or biases you may have and delve deeper into the subject matter.

they refuse to even know what it means. they attribute it to being human nature. which in someway there's an argument to that but they believe the argument in such a way that it becomes an excuse to their own ignorance.

Obviously not or democrats wouldn't constantly accuse republicans of being racist when THEY (democrats) are the actual racists!

Both political parties harbor racist beliefs. It’s beyond stupid to think in black and white like that.

Republicans have the sink or swim mentality that isn’t at all sympathetic to systemic racism, denying systemic racism even exists.

Democrats give too much free shit away to the point where the incentive to grow does not exist whatsoever. It’s capped off at a certain amount of income as well. So you can be working and poor, way too poor to survive without assistance, yet the welfare stops because you make too much. So why work? It introduced that mindset.

No.. In their minds they aren't doing anything wrong and will attribute their behavior to tribalism, human nature or biology
