Do you think AI and GPTChatBot is something we should embrace or fear?

At this time AI doesn't have the intelligence of a 4 year. If you call a company and a computer answer, they can't respond to your questions unless it is preprogrammed. However, Moore's law that states computers will double in complexity and speed every 18 months to 2 years has held up for the last 50 years. On that basis in the AI will be 1,000 time as intelligent in 15 to 20 years and 1 million times as intelligent in 30 to 40 years.

At that point AI will have human level intelligence and since AI is 1 million times faster they will design their own replacements. Then in another 20 years, AI will be 1,000 times as intelligent as any human so humans will not understand what AI's are designing when they create their replacements. AI will not be programmed to harm humans but AI and humans might disagree on what is best. However, AI will be making all the decisions.

Embrace and understand
Its not really ChatGPT is not really AI
Its a predict langrange moudel
It basiclly takes what you say and try to predict what you expect as an answer
But it dose not really know what its saying

Over all I think AI be good and will help, I used it a few times (not really AI but ChatGPT) to enhance things I write and check typos is pretty useful for that

Over all this are tools, and they can make holes or art, it all depends on who uses them :)

Well these are the prototypes for AI. When we need AI to run the government we won't build a new AI from scratch, we'll just give the chatbot a few tweaks. Then we will all be at the mercy of the Great Machine Mind.

Robots real ones could be very dangerous in the hands of the wrong people. Imagine if someone programmes a robot to track a specific person by face regnition. Or they could simply take over all our jobs. All humain would live on benefits and the robots would build our houses and do our gardens. There are also stories of people starting to date robots because they felt they could understand them better than humains. But the chatbot isn't dangerous. It's similar to Google
