Do you believe in order to be a president of a country specifically a powerful country the leader must have a certain degree of being a psychopath?

I ask this because the president is the leader of the military of a nation and sometimes to maintain political power project strength around the world he or she must be willing to order some serious disgusting acts against the defenseless often times small innocent kids and elderly must seriously suffer or die and he or she must be ok doing it or they won't be effect as leader and project weaknesses to their enemies who are willing to get dirty and low. 😑

No. But you do have a certain regard for acceptable losses, while still valuing human life. Military leaders have to learn this. To make tough decisions based on imperfect information. Self sacrifice might be easy to a man of courage. But how bout when you have to send brave men to thier death. When you have to weigh losses. And as a leader hesitation can increase those losses. If you're not ready for this responsibility. If you hesitate then you're not ready to lead. I know I could NEVER do this.

leadership requires competency and a mentality very few people truly understand. we may be able to recognize great leaders but emulating them is entirely different and usually you have to resemble someone you wouldn't personally get along with because leaders often have to make tough decisions for the long term benefit of the group

That is a subject I’ve been studying in general. Like Ceos vs serial killers. And I would say probably. Getting to the top requires less care for others generally speaking and narcissism.

Now I wouldn’t say empathy would be zero, which would be a total psychopath. I think like autism, we’re all on a spectrum with the majority, or the curve, being like.001% psycho. Just watch security camera footage of Black Friday for example.

I don’t believe it’s necessary but I suspect it’s often the case. Narcissists and Sociopaths like control and power and tend to gravitate towards positions that will grant them both.
