Why do conservatives and liberals pivot from a question when it calls to criticism there own party?

The same reason you would, when you're faced with an attack on your job.

Technically they are employed by their party, and if you want to keep your job' you'll not bad mouth your employer openly.

There are no real "conservatives" or "liberals". Those titles are mostly irrelevant these days as everyone is a mix of various political positions.

Because they are all a bunch of self- brainwashed idiots. They’ve convinced themselves that everything one party does is good and everything the other party does is bad. The parties themselves have fostered this divisiveness (amplified by social media) to keep their voters in line and people are eating it up. So that’s why you see all these people who will cut their own wrist before they admit their party did something wrong. It’s almost like we have 2 cults in this country.
